No wonder you were on the fifth line. Either that, you live about 20 miles east of Roseau.

You guys are wrong to pick on watchdog. I know him personally and he is a stand up guy. DOes a ton for Roseau Youth Hockey and his community. Besides, we know now that he was spot on in his assessments and the rest were all wet. Besides, everybody and their mother knows that the way to number one in...

Even though Bemidji got thumped last weekend, I would give them a slightly better chance as they are coming back to defend their title.

Might want to drop Hibbing down in the no politics poll. Unranked Bemidji barely sqeaked by Hibbing today 7 - 0.

Please let CNF do the rankings. He truly has no bias and actually tracks the teams, not just a couple of them Spelchekor.

I been away a long time but, it seems to me that Bemidji was in the Final 8 two years ago (basically same team) That was not by accident. I know they lost Erickson but got a replacement who is almost as good. Bigger for certain. Keep them out of the polls though. It will be nicer to surprise a few p...

I find it absolutely hilarious that the comments on this thread are heading in the direction they are. Truly, we as parents, need to lace up the skates, and re-live the dream we are pushing on our kids or just shut up. As I write this, I can only think how fortunate I have been to have had the oppor...

It is that time of year, when the snow it doth fall. When skate laces are tied, and the kids have a ball. Building snowmen and forts, is what it's all about, Enjoying God's frozen creation, day in and day out. At the rink we can hear, the joyful sounds of the game. Mom yelling "Good Job Johnny!", an...

Best Team = Hibbing
Best Player = Whoever was wearing #19
Predictions = Hibbing will win it all
Information = Ya, I hear through the grapevine, but don't tell no one, that Hibbing will surprise alot of teams, which I was surprised to hear.

CMR, I agree with you on the new MH Executive Director and have high hopes but...typically if you butt heads with the people that hired you, they also end up being the people that fired you. I guess we will wait to see if they "cut the strings" on the new puppet. Hopeful, but doubtful as long as we ...

Please pay attention people to Sunday morning's agenda item. The board member they are going to discipline and possibly remove, is none other than the Board member who razzles and dazzles and whose efforts go beyond our expectations. As a member of District 16, and one of the unified supporter's of ...

What to do at Squirts?

Travel, or no travel, or combination? Our association has enough for 4 Squirt teams this year. What are similar size associations doing i.e. 1 A, 2 B, and 1C or 1A, 2B1, 1B2 or 1A or 3B1 etc.?

Not Just D16 for Elliott

Just thought I would give more proof that Mark is about kids. His 12 year old baseball team moved into the Championship game of the Midwest Regional tournament in Dickinson, ND. They play today at 10AM for the Championship and represent the Midwest at the Cal Ripken World Series. Let's all wish him ...

Re: Best Winter Peewee A Tournaments in Minnesota

Can someone give me some insight to the best Peewee A tournaments. My friend coaches the 97 Madison Capitols and is looking for a tournament to register for. I have seen alot of tourneys over the years and the Paul Bunyan International is one of the best. They treat you like royalty, they have off-...

This weekends vote or non-vote regarding the one-site tourney begs to revive this thread. So here goes: Oh the big Red iculous, how wonderful the site. Where wild fans cheer, on a chilly winter's night. Our team of 18,000, of which we're so proud. Thrill us to no end, and make us scream loud. Oh the...

I just mentioned in another area but Roseau will be the best Bantam team since Josh Erickson is moving back. Bemidji had tradition in the 70's and 80's, nothing since. There is too much false hope that they will be competing for a section championship especially when there has not been a team since...

Re: Bemidji

Do not count out Bemidji in a top 10 to 15 category. That program has some horses and will return a core group who did quite well at Pee Wee A level 2 years ago. Their success makes one wish they had remained in AA for the high school level. Expect Bemidji HS to return to AA for the '09-'10 season....
