I wouldn't think the Bernie fellow would not cut his top 1,2, or 3 players if they were gone from practice a few days. If he did wouldn't that weaken his team below his rivals? On the other hand it sounds like a lot of money. Not a typical trip to Grand Rapids for a 3 game winter tournament.

If they have a neighboring school and want to win, they recruit.
If they have a neighboring school and want to win, they retain as well.
Some look near, some look near and far. It may not be the coach doing all the sales, but it is getting done by someone.

neither of the boys mentioned going to bsm would be bantam eligible next year. On another note i am surprised one is leaving his cousin to go to bsm good luck to both however, nice players

On a side note: how come in the USA Hockey magazine we get there is seldom a mention of a Minnesota association or volunteer compared to our other union states? MN Hockey you don't need to follow USA Hockey on every rule. Don't play teams outside Minnesota. Now your playing teams witht the same set ...
