I've never understood the claimed bias he has? If his kids hadn't played for "Edina" this topic never gets started.

Eden Prairie's the better team and beat the Skippers 4-1 the last time they met. But Minnetonka beat EP not just once at the Schwan, but also 4-2 in the first conference game in February. Those wins came against EP's full compliment of players I believe. The game would be a toss up without the susp...

My bad. It was hard taking this topic seriously until MSHSL corrected the bracket scores. I was like WHAT!

Good luck Bemidji. Be nice to see someone other than the Big 2 make it. 8)

Brainerd + Bemidji

When was the last time one of those two took out Roseau or Moorhead in the semis? Reminds of the painful times when Tech or Apollo would keep losing to Roseau by a goal in one of those crazy section finals. No hope here...

Looked like Hill just wore em out. By the halfway point the game was over. A one-goaler but not very close. Was it conditioning that did it? Matchup changes? Hill played 15 games in 31 days in January. No one played more games then they did in that time. So that's some good conditioning. But it's t...

Several stories in this game. The best goalie in the state against another top 10 goalie, who as a senior should have gotten one of the two Brimsek goalie nominations instead of the one who was barely in the top 50 statistically. Another story is the physical play of Eagan D's which has stepped up ...

According to the Hub Edina outshot Eagan 40-26, including 20 shots in the 3rd. Edina did not score till under two minutes left in the third. Eagan won 2-1. So from Edina's perspective, if they are to advance, I think they will have to beat them at their own game with low scoring.

Malmquist

Feel free to chime in. The thing I remember about Malmquist during last year's tourney is that he could get knocked off his skates and seem to be kinda weak in that regard, but he'd get back up and make checks. He had a lot of fight. Hurley had the best first game, but the last two it was Malmquist ...

There's some recent history with North that isn't all that pleasant. The way the whole thing ended for their former coach and how the new coach came rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. It is what it is though. In 1AA they brought maybe 50 students to the championship game, pretty sad, Farmington ...

I understand how people can appreciate the Rams. They have a great program, even the ideal program, but why LN isn't cheered, even though they've never won it before, is beyond me.

ne tourney would be great , if they have to go to 16 teams 8 "A", 8 "AA" or just 16 teams. One other idea would be if the League is stuck on 2 levels have a AA and an A tourney but no opting up, in that case the A tourney would be at least as exciting as the AA The Mshsl should do what they did wit...
