There is always speculation regarding professional drafts. Many thought Aaron Ness would be a first rounder. Jake Gardiner was not Mr. Hockey and ended up being drafted higher. Jake has been viewed as a player with higher pro potential. Time will tell. Good luck to the Minnesota contingent at the c...

Why does Randolph have to be supportive? I one way or another this kid and others are saying his coaching isn't good enough for Derek or North Dakota. I give Randolph credit for telling it like it is, and yes he can be pissed off his job relies on winning and when you lose your best player that is ...

Scott is actually his uncle, who played in the NHL, I believe his dad Mike was also a good player though. Nick is a very good player, I'd be suprised if he is back at Blaine in 2 years. Why would he leave? He already got a D-1 scholarship, and Blaine plays tough competition. Might as well finish ou...

Sometimes players play bad games as well and I think that might have been the case here. Sure the coach can say all sorts of things but sometimes, especially with a venue like the X, players get nervous and lose their hands or something like that. That was my observation. Yes players do get nervous...

I've gotta believe it's coaching. Edina was hands down the most talented team in the state this year, and all of you who watched the section finals against Jefferson can back me up when I say that, when this team played up to their talent, there is not a team in the state who is within 3 goals of th...

That is one reason the All-Tournament Teams weren't selected for a period of time starting in the late '60's or early '70's. There were too many disagreements over who should have made the team and who shouldn't have. I do wonder how the AA Tournaments top scorer was left off, Anders Lee with 9pts,...

Assuming everyone stays: 1: Eden Prairie-Leddy is a huge loss but the sophomores will only get better, which is scary to even think about 2: Minnetonka-Coatta is a pretty big loss but the return of Gardiner and Prochno, 2 of the state's top juniors, more than makes up for it 3: Jeffeson-losing Siir...

Last year Hill was on the bottom for the championship game... do they move them down for later games? It all depends on the size of the student section. Some schools last year (Woodbury, Edina) brought more students to their first round games than schools like HM, BSM or Roseau have in their entire...

Some guy up in Duluth told me Forbort will go top 10 in this years nhl draft, is he really that good or is this guy nuts? Forbort's real good but that guys crazy I don't think he's even eligible for this year's draft actually. Top Juniors (no particular order): Gardiner-Tonka Prochno-Tonka Taft-Edi...

Except last year when the Bears literally beat them up there. Oh yeah! Another bench brawl would be great. : D except the repercussions would be suspended players for sections, not great. Ah, excuse me. One of the fastest growing suburbs, and youth hockey associations, in the metro over the last 10 years. So fast they're getting split into two schools. Likely the end of a nice little run at the high school level. Don't get me wrong, I've heard Bolin is good, but giant honking suburb...
