I've heard from someone more closely connected to the Lumberjacks, but haven't verified. Have some of the players opted for Juniors? If so, is this a trend and something that might be affecting the potential transition?

I agree with the pack that BSM didn't behave well, and EP didn't behave well. I think one other poster mentioned this, and it shows on the KSTP video to some degree. But, here is a key point in why I feel EP is more to blame for the escalation. EP players from the bench joined the fight. #8 is clear...

I don't think Delano is close to AA status. They were previously, when they also had Watertown-Mayer in their association. Now that W/M is with Mound, the Delano/Rockford is Class A.

Overall, this was a good game. Breck deserved to win, but Delano's defense played well and gave them a shot.

Breck is so good and should win this game. However, with the right bounces and maybe a slow start from Breck the Delano line of Mclain, Ylitalo and Oja could put in a goal or two. If that happens early, maybe it energizes the Tigers to keep this one close. A lot of pressure will be on Grangroth in n...

Actually, I think neither ESP1000 nor MSBN are broadcasting games this season. The Jacks and Lakers are both using FASTHockey.com The IceHawks are using B2, for now. I, too, thought that Warroad scored on that play. With no replay for us to watch, we can't verify one way or the other. Glad it didn't end up costing them the game.

Yea, I am surprised by the #7 for Blake. I had thought 4, as I said, but even a 5 or 6 could have been justified fairly easily. Everyone is tough in the playoffs, but I think Mound has a better chance at reaching the section semi's than does Orono. I guess I am going on the Blake Bears as the 'cinde...

Hey Goldy23, Blake did almost beat Breck yesterday. Sure, the final was 4-2, however the last Breck goal was essentially an empty netter. It was 2-2 after after 2 and Blake outshot Breck for the game. They outhustled them for most of the game, although not by a lot. Breck is the team to beat from th...

As GoodWillHunting said, Blake played well, and perhaps even out played Breck at times. The 1st period was full of action, with the Bears out shooting the Mustangs 17-7. It seemed that the Bears were able to keep Rehkamp and Fulton tied up, in that they did not allow them to get the puck in open ice...
