They eventually called it a tie.
Wow! i cant believe that they just called it a tie. I'm sure the kids werent happy about that, despite how exhausted they were

I wonder what the final shots were!!

Have you guys ever been to a track meet, cross country race, ski meet, gymnastics meet, etc, etc? When they compete like that and the 2nd place team/person is announced they are happy. Sure, they could've gotten 1st, but they didn't; there are 62+ other teams who would be happy to be in their shoes...

The kids dreams are to WIN the STATE TOURNAMENT... so when they end up taking 2nd, its heart braking to them that they were THAT close to living their dream, only to suffer the pain of defeat!

I personally think that these are a very nice look for Cathedral. Not too off the wall like Lourdes, but also not too boring. For you people who don't have a clue...it is the Atlanta Thrasher's template.... If you want to talk about ugly jerseys, how bout last years state champions of Hermantown? T...

I hope Hill's defense plays as well against Roseau as they did against WBLake. Hill also plays three full lines and Roseau tends to depend mainly on its top 2 who will get worn down by the 3rd period if the game is fast paced. I think Roseau was too focused on trying to have a shut out and made a h...

Re: Roseau a Lock to Repeat?

Is Roseau a Lock for the State AA Title again? Definitely not a lock. They still have a couple of really good teams to beat. Having said that, I think that they are the best team. They looked good against Blaine, but I've seen them play much better. They were not quite firing on all cylinders-- the...

Re: New Stories

I love the tourney, and they do an outstanding job of covering the games, but could we get a new story or two for intros and intermissions? Every year we get a great look at Mayasich and Mariucci with the same exact stories. We also get another in depth look at Mike Antonovich. These are great stor...

Re: Where are they now?

A list of programs with past tournament success, only to be watching on their big screens this season. I'll start with five, if anyone wants to add a program/reason for a program not in the past few tourneys, or the next few. 1. Duluth East - top seed again is dismissed, 3rd year and counting... 2....

How a team like Lakeville South/North gets in to the state tournement after the way Burnsville played tonight is utter crap. Whoever comes up with sections should be shot. Every year teams in the top 10 get screwed over and put into the same section while there are other sections that a .500 team c...
