You know what??? WHO CARES?? and WHAT"S IT TO YOU??? I read the Star Tribune every day. I read it because it seems all else is fishwrap. After I read in the STAR TRIBUNE that this kid quit his hockey team my first thought was "shame on you star tribune". Let the poor kid alone. He is only a kid. So...

I went last year for a couple of games. The games were pretty a good and you should be able to get tickets at the door.

Kids are transferring all the time for one reason or another, and for it to posted on Hockey Hub is a joke. Way to go guys.
Hmm, a high school hockey news site post a story about a good player transferring. You're right, they have no business posting this...

Congrats Ben Lynch!!

Former Blaine star Ben Lynch committed to RIT late last week. He is sure to make an impact with the Tigers. Couldn't have happened to a nicer kid. Congrats Ben!

Where did Rau take his team this year? To a fifth straight state tournament or to a 7-2 thrashing in the section final? Oh yeah, that's right, it was the latter....

If Blaine can come out the way they did in the 3rd against Osseo, I think it it will be a laugher. This is entirely Blaine's game to lose.

5-2 Blaine (Bjugstad with the hatty)

I'm not saying it's right but aren't the referees listed on the box score anyway?

I wouldn't say the last minute goal was a defensive breakdown as much as it was a great play by Lucia. Wayzata was in desperation mode and Lucia got rewarded for crashing the net on a mess in the goal mouth.

How did Alt make this list, am I missing something? Is he that good defensively? 9pts in 19 games just doesn't seem to fit. Because he has committed to the UofM.. DUH.. Why is Gardiner on the list? He has missed a significant chunk of the season due to injury. Not questioning his talent but you can...

I would put Dave Aus of Blaine up there. He has taken his teams to 4 straight state tournaments with 2 top 3 finishes. I would say that they are on their way to a 5th appearance in as many years if they can stay strong down the stretch.

Although Minnetonka's goalie didn't look great, the rest of the team did. IMO, Minnetonka is undoubtably the best team in the state. Gardiner and Coatta were the two best forwards on the ice tonight. They are blessed with D that help control the game. Bjugstad is not as blessed in that area. Did Bj...

I really hope my Bengals can pull this one out but it will take the rest of the team stepping up to help Bjugstad. The D needs to really tighten up and not make the mistakes they made against Roseau and Osseo. They had some very big turnovers that led to goals. Harper also needs to come up big.

Brock Nelson showed that he is the best SR player in the state this year. That's quite a bold statement considering Bjugstad was out of the country... Is this official/can someone confirm?

Also, Forbort can be scratched off that list of possible defensemen, seeing as he'll be at NTDP.

Jigs your exactly right.. the problem with the gophers is they recruit only the goal scorers .
