Re: Private School Tournament

I think what would be really cool, and would draw some big crowds, would be a Catholic school tourney at the Colliseum or something during Christmas break. This would probably draw a lot of interest from these schools, atleast a lot more than most Christmas tournaments do. Plus it would be some goo...

The rule was put in because of the tough economic times, to alleviate pressure on players and families to come up with the extra money for travel. It also levels the playing field between the Haves and the Have Nots. AHA already started cutting back on team "extras" before this rule came d...

I remember that the win for AV was questionable. Anyone else remember this?

Apple Valley has not been to state since 1996 when they won it....they will return to state in 2009 after they beat Cretin 3-1 Yeah - that championship game in 1996 was a flawed win with allegations of cheating. I don't remember hte details, but i do remember there was controversy. Hail Cretin Rah ...

Now that we know the seedings we can make our predictions: Jefferson over Shakopee Burnsville over Chaska AHA over Kennedy Edina over Prior Lake Round 2 I am calling this: Burnsville over Jefferson AHA over Edina Finals AHA over Burnsville. These are my guesses, challenge them if you want, but we a...

Good coaches don't need to recruit. Players will come to them., even if it means faking residence in a district or moving into a new school district

Why we are we even discussing this? SSM isn't a MN High School Hockey team in my opinion they are a mercenary development team. But to the drugged comment, why is that bad? It would mean sluggish, or really quick and dangerous skating I would think. Thanks Zamman for posting this. I was wondering h...
