when these two played at state last year in the first round i was dissapointed because in my opinion that should have been the championship game. it was easily my favorite game to watch in the tourney last year. this year both teams are very equal and i guess the only way to do decide is by favorite...

Moorhead's team was ridiculous last year. It upsets me that AHA beat them. There is no way they should have lost with Lee and Vandevelt. <p></p><i></i>

How about maple grove and elk river last year to go to state. went into ot and maplegrove gets off a nice one-timer. i thought the game was done for sure but sam warhol made possibly the greatest save i'd ever seen. Then Jake Koehler gets on a breakaway from the game winner. It was deffinetly a game...

Elk River and Centennial last year when centennial played at Elk River and Andrew Malzahn scored the game winning goal. Thank god this isn't counted. Nothing against the US team or Warroad but the fact that a guys team and girls team are playing is ridiculous in my mind. Especially if it's going to count as a regular season game. <p></p><i></i>

Brandon Martell of Elk River. He's a junior this year and leading the team in points. Huge kid with an absolute cannon for a shot. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of the kid later in the season. <p></p><i></i>

Maple Grove and ER at Maple grove on Thursday. I didn't catch their game at the Schwan's cup so I can't really base a decision on that. I know Elks won by 2. Anybody want to fill me in on how the game went and how they think this one will go? <p></p><i></i>

Elks deffinetly did not play well at the tournaments. Not to say that had everything to do with it because they played great teams but really they just didn't have together at all. <p></p><i></i>

White Bear Lake has a huge physical team and is very intimitating. I'd like to say they are one of the top defensive teams. <p></p><i></i>
