I think this is a major mistake by both of these players. Name me the last Minnesotan who left at this age and actually made it to the NHL. I would be surprised if you can even think of 5 players in the last 10 years. The odds are not on their favor! What about gettting a free ride to college if the...

I am wondering for many of you that if they deserved a higher seed then Waconia why could they not even beat the #9 seed???? Seems to me that many 5 seeds would not have a problem with the #9 seed. Bottom line is you have to win games regardless where you are seeded. Jefferson forgot about that.

I dont' think HF get rated higher then Hopkins. However HF is probably a more dangerous opponent then Hopkins come playoffs. Not much talk about them all year. They have had a nice season thus far 16-6 with some good quality wins. Also not many of these 6AA teams have seen them play which could pres...

Totino Grace all over St. Louis Park tonight 7-1. SLP strength of schedule early on was below average thus them getting many early wins. Playing against better teams has been difficult for them.

The problem is games are 51 minutes long. Any team that plays only for 45 mins will never win a game at any level. Alot of things can happen in 6 mins as St. Cloud found out tonight especially early on. Play was in the St.Cloud end most of the night so to see the shots where they ended up is not sur...

Holy Family beats St. Cloud Cathedral 4-1 tonight. This game was dominated by the fire from the start. HF outshots St. Cloud 51-20 for the game. This Young Fire team is very good. They showed that tonight against a very good St. Cloud Team.

It's tough enough to have 1 good team let alone THREE! The cost to play there I heard is also is $2000. Teams are basically open level teams and at that price no thanks!

Holy Family Fire Opted Up to AA

Congrats to Holy Family Fire for moving up to AA hockey. They will play in 6AA next year. Hats off to them for making the move to help keep building that program. They were the only ones to move up according to Minnesota State High School league page. Hopefully this will start a trend for other priv...

Shane Gersich from the Holy Family Fire is the stud of the 96 group. He is only an 8th grader. On the Frosh scoring report, he is the 3rd leading scorer in the State among all 8th and 9th graders!! I heard he had 5 goals in his game last Friday night. 10 goals and 10 assists in 12 games. Impressive.
