Re: most dominent defensemen
You guys are missing the only senior defensemen in the state that has committed to a D1 school already. That would be future gopher David Fischer of Apple Valley who is IMO the best defensemen in the state

Re: huh?
I'm not saying that the Elite League should determine who wins Mr. Hockey. But only getting two points in the Elite League shows that Breden is nowhere close to some of the top players in the state.

Nate Breden only managed 2 points for Team North in the Elite League and you think he is one of the front-runners for Mr. Hockey.

Edited by: Hot Ice 7 at: 12/24/05 6:36 pm

Fischer was invited to tryout this spring in Ann Arbor for the NTDP. He was one of five 88's there trying out for the U-18 team along with 40 89's trying out for the U-17 team.Taylor Mattson was also an 88 trying out. Re: about zach
Faust is the product of the team he plays for. But once he gets up against good competition, such as the Elite League, he is average. He had the 9th best GAA(4.073) in the Elite League this year and the 11th best save %(.879). Hartzell had comparable #'s in the Elite League and should be given some ...

Re: Good game
IF AV can put up 3 or more goals I feel that they will win. Fischer, Medvec and Beggs will be able to contain Jefferson's O to 2 goals or less. My prediction is a 3-2 OT win for AV. It should be a great game!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserPublicProfile?gid=hotice...

Re: exactly
You want some good 3rd/4th line grinders? How about bring in some guys that were 3rd and 4th liners in high school? Of course that won't happen. Every player they bring in will be a star for whatever team they played for before. It's tDon's job to put them in the right place and get some of them to ...

Are you serious? You think that Machacek,Peckscamp, or Fredrickson, who are all from Eastview, have a chance to win Mr. Hockey? None of them are even playing in the Elite League. Just because you are an Eastview fan doesn't mean you have to be irrational in your thought process when evaluating your ...

Re: Mr. Hockey
Traditionally Gopher recruits have won the award, with a few recent exceptions recently. I feel that the best player will be Forney, but will that fact that he is from a small class A school hurt him? At some point he will make a verbal commitment, most likely to the Gophers or the Sioux. Already co...
