Just wondering what small program guys where left out of the great 8 again this year.... here are a few ive noticed not sure if he is a senior but Phil Paquette from Luverene put up 65 points in 21 games... awful schedule but maybe atleast an alternate.... and Mike Anderson from the Saint Paul Sain...

Petition means nothing even if there is one. He'll be there a lot longer than anybody signing a petition, if it exists.

I'd like to put coach Steve "Moose" Younghans for the Johnson Governors into the running. He not only coachs the high school team but also the A Bantam team. He's made both of those team's alot better, and their both doing good. The bantam team is now going to regionals and they have 6 pe...

This is just another attempt by the Soviets to spread Communism to the US, but instead of missiles in Cuba, they're planting hockey players in Duluth. I guess they didn't take into account that Minnesota is a Communist State already.

Sure, they could beat EP in one game, but I don't think they could win three games against the AA teams like Blaine, EP, Moorhead, Duluth East, Hill Murray, Cretin, and Edina. I think Warroad, on the other hand, could compete for the AA title, both because of their section, and that they are a stro...

More than just the school's fan base go to the AA games. I'm not sure that a school the size of Breck would make it through a AA section (never did in the one class system), let alone the AA tournament. The hit itself was clean, but when you send somebody into an uncontrollable fall into the boards, it's boarding. Not a dirty play, that's not what I'm saying. It was a big hit and a freak injury. All I'm saying is that it should have been a 2 minute penalty for boarding, especially with some of the...

Where is marshal im not seing him out there nearly as much as he played in sections. Marshall got taken out of the X on a stretcher. He's done for the game, obviously. It was a result of that hit Schmidt put on him in the 1st. Mahtomedi was clearly not quite as good without him. They have a huge up...

Stillwater's better at football than Johnson. :P Seriously though, Johnson has a shot. Stillwater will be a better skating team and if they stick to their style of play the Ponies will be one game away from the State Tournament. If they play Johnson's type of wrestling match of a game the Governors ...

They deserved the #1 seed, but they play the games for a reason! STA should have opted up this year. Mahtomedi and SSP would have a great chance in this section as well this season.

Won't Little Falls have to beat Alex just to get to the state tournament again? They'll have a tough game or two in Sections, but I think they're the #1 team until somebody beats them. It's very possible that they get the #1 seed if they make it to State, and will get a good chance to prove themselv...

I think Hutch gets the one seed due to head-to-head competition, which is/should be the first criteria when seeding any section.
