Not really concerned about that last game for the Eagles. Rau & Co. never even won the Edina game at the holiday classic, I believe the last time EP pulled that one out was when Nate Hanson was around. No real reason for great concern because of that loss.

with the numbers they got in that school they could have a whole new team full of seniors, they could pop up from outta nowhere With the coaching staff granting varsity positions to bantam eligible players, before tryouts, I don't know who you think these senior players are. And who is this bantam ...

Number one regular season game to go to for me is always EP Edina in the holiday classic. Amazing atmosphere even though the eagles haven't had great luck in it recently. Always a classic MN high school affair.

This kid is just torching the city of Duluth. Beats East almost singlehandedly in the AA ship, scores two goals to help the Gophers to win in OT, and then scores the game winner last night. Unreal.

Does UMD count as good team for rau to score against? I am going to say the bulldogs qualify as a good team. Duluth gotta be getting tired of Rau torching that town. He will have a bullseye on his back again tomorrow night. Tough kid. Yeah for real. Rau has not been kind to that town over the last ...

Kyle Rau was taken with the last pick of the third round, 91 overall to Florida. That's almost 100 spots ahead of what Central Scouting had him. Good luck at the U next year and hopefully a long NHL career in the future!

You all know I'm about as big an EP fan there is, but even I'll admit it's gonna take a few years to get back into contention. The top two players from the Bantam team are going to Benilde and there are gonna be some goalie issues this year. I do like what will be next year's junior class, but next...

Re: Dan Molenaar - Health Update?

Good evening, It has been a couple months since hip surgery. Anybody know what his rehab is looking like? Post-high school plans? I really enjoyed watching him play this year. I feel, in some ways, Dan was very underrated compared to others that did get a scholly - Everson, Seeler, etc. to top D-I ...

Yeah I saw Nick out there in game one. He played most the season in Chicago so it makes sense. It's really amazing how fast he's become a regular in the pro's. I mean he was with most of EP's class of 2011 just two years ago. Definitely a star in the making.

Max Tardy picked a good time to score his first career collegiate goal. I believe he would have scored No. 2 but he was hooked just as he was getting ready to shoot at some open net. Out of all Michigan's penalties this was probably the best one for them to take. The whole game was bs. Attaway to l...

Seven classes is ridiculous. Period. There is no reason to have more than three or four. This is a varsity sport, not everyone gets a medal anymore. With only 32 teams in "Seven-A" (how dumb does that sound) 25% of the teams will make state. What? And now we have seven state champions? It's out of h...
