I'm sure the reigning Stanley cup champs have no idea what they're doing, I trust those in charge of evaluating the hawk prospects know what they are looking for. maybe some truth there, but Leddy was very average on D with the Gophers,he has a loooooong way to go...btw i`m not bashing Leddy, just m...

The best JGA programs would beat half the high school teams at a minimum. Kid splay JG for a variety of reasons including not being good enough for the varsity but also because they want to play other sports, would rather play than sit on the bench while a kid with "potential" gets shifts, don't wa...

I would think a big difference in varsity vs. junior gold play would be overall conditioning. I suppose workouts vary among teams, but I would guess the committment level and ice time might be less at jr. gold. Third periods might belong to the better conditioned teams. The biggest difference would...

Maybe we should start a post on how the upper level A Bantam teams could beat JGA teams... Most of the "better" JGA teams wouldn`t stand a chance against an average Varsity team...Edina,Wayzata,Burnsville and Tonka were all decent teams, but having played all of them losing to Edina by 1,Wayz...

Your biggest hurdle is going to be getting people to commit to the team. You will find lots of people who will say stuff like "oh, a new team, sounds good. give me a call when you have it going and we will see where we are at and might sign up.". No matter how hard you try to convince them to sign ...

Empty net goal seals the win for Roseau, 7-5. Pretty nice comeback for the Rams there. Hoping they face East tomorrow for the consolation prize. Lee  What a collapse!!!!
