See packerboy! Our neighborhood program works!
The ten kids are probably from Clearwater Creek. That's essentially White Bear territory, not Centennial territory.

Oh I got an idea!!! I think I remember seeing on the ps2 rankings that there were 127 barsity programs in state. Get one more team and you could have a perfect 128 team bracket with exactly seven rounds. 4 teams would go to a first round site hosted by the top ranked team in that group of four. Two ...

Yes Hill gets a lot of players from many different towns, but they get all there students from many different towns... There are 986 kids in grade 7-12 at Hill, 40 are on either the JV or Varsity hockey teams. The percentages of total students and the percentage of hockey players are very close for ...

Nice idea Dman  You would have to have play in games like that. As for Pioneerprideguy, I wasn't saying that the sections aren't exciting right now - they're great; some of the best hockey games all year. With the system I wrote about though, there would be even more exciting games. As for Spar...

Does recruiting happen in private schools sometimes: Yes

Does recruiting happen in public schools sometimes: Probably

Do I care: Not unless it's STA recruiting someone that should be going to Hill.

I agree very strongly with the idea of having both classes together however, why not just have one class, one tournament, eight sections. Just like it use to be. Instead of having eight or nine teams in a section, there will be about 18 teams in a section. This keeps everything relatively the same, ...

I'm not hearing this Mr. Dolen guy complain about Wolter going to White Bear... And besides, after watching Hill lay a 7-1 beat down on Mounds View in sections, I can't see players who want to leave reconsidering staying.

Yea... I don't really like SCC's or the Thrasher's jerseys.

Hill's black jersey's are sweet and so are the green ones. I'm not a big fan of the white ones though.

Warroad vs. Roseau is the obvious choice. WB vs. Hill is probably the best metro rivalry but seeing that Hill is more of an area then a town, this rivalry doesn't count in this topic. WB vs. Roseville's another good one though :D Always fun to watch in sections. The two teams rarely play in high sch...

This would be great!!! The tournament has to get back to just one class... That bracket could have great match-ups in the state semis. STA vs. Edina & White Bear vs. Hill We would see if the Cadets could hang with the big schools. There would of been tons of storylines in that game this year wit...

I went to five of Hill's six postseason games and I got to say that the White Bear game was the best of all of them. No other team (North St. Paul, Mounds View, Lakeville South, Roseau, and Edina) played the Pioneers as goods as WB did.

Congrats Hill! Great season!!!

Some other person simulated something like that, it's a good idea. There could be two brackets for each section. The 1, 4, 5, etc seeds would get into one bracket while 2, 3, etc would get in the other... I like that idea a lot.

If the game was more like the first semifinal, you maybe could make a case in saying Roseau is still the better team but it was 6-2 for crying out loud. Better teams don't lose 6-2 to inferior teams.

Way to go Hill!!! Good luck against Edina!

I think the fact that no one gave Hill a chance was Hill's greatest advantage. They had no pressure on them. Hill was expected to blow out their opponents in the last two tourneys and in the first game against Lakeville. As a result they barely squeaked by in two of those games and were upset in ove...
