No, to very few, rinks are profitable. All the recently constructed ones have had a difficult time being profitable. Mostly related to summer drop in demand.

Easy one. No school sponsored youth teams. Schools currently hosting youth hockey teams should be shut down immediately. No exceptions!

The design discussion always cracks me up.

Has to be a top 5 design list after building thousands of f'ing rinks.

Whatever.
I've been thinking about a couple of Minnesota players getting recent attention. Mike Reilly and Jake Guentzel were two of the smallest MN PeeWee and Bantam players ever.

Tabor and Hankinson transferred to Holy Family.
Sounds like Holy Family will be facing some forfeitures.

Can a team like Honeybaked take players from the entire Detroit Metro area?
What? They have, have had, players from all over the world.

The list of players that go directly from HS to D1 is relatively short. Did Swaney just graduate this past spring? A lot of players spend a year in Juniors after HS. Some play Juniors during their Sr. year in HS. Fewer from MN as HS hockey can be decent. Remember, Pitlick was going back to Juniors u...

NAHL Showcase

Is there a link to the results from the showcase? Can't seem to find the scores from the 16U and D-League teams that participated on the NAHL site.

And, how'd it go for the Minnesota teams? (Not NAHL teams)

I've wondered about the 30 player roster too. Gonna get busted up as they should. I imagine the top 15 are outstanding.

9th grade is bantam. This coach is out of control and has to go. He's totally lost sight of the school and community mission. There should be zero support for his shenanigans.

What are the odds playing 70 Bantam games is a better experience, and better for development, than being a 9th grader on a varsity team.

If true they would be a team of Omaha/Council Bluffs/Lincoln players.
