This topic is gonna get shut down quickly  This has been going on for years, and will continue to happen. Parents dump thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours every year into their children's sporting endeavors. Many of the parents played the very sport their kids are involved in. So, there...

I wasn't confused until I read what gardetto said..."For some reason they took some 11th graders this year" which is what the 18's always do and the Great 8 never does. It's all good. I thought the GREAT 8 was for seniors only NOT 11th graders, So I guess I was mislead on that information...

18s is a really small group as it is only 94 juniors.

Great 8 is all seniors, 93s and 94s.
For some reason they took some 11th graders this year
Great 8 took juniors?
No, "18s" did. This thread is becoming confused. Great 8 rosters are not out yet.

Well that is all fine and dandy, and I don't think anyone is disputing the fact that the football state tournys in Texas are huge. However, a few things to consider: Population of Texas: 25.9 Million Population of Minnesota: 5.3 Million If we were to combine attendance to all the games in a day (th...

Besse is bigger and faster than Spehar no question about it. Not sure about that, but he is a much better skater that's for sure. I skated against Spehar. I don't really agree. I am far more interested to know if there is anyone here who can tell us about Grant's favorite cartoons and what he enjoy...

So the thought process goes that if you have a program that is consistently successful they should play AA. All privates fit the bill due to perception that they must be recruiting to be successful. Why are we stopping there? Why not throw Hermantown or Warroad for example up to AA? They seem to be...

I thought both student sections were fine, Both were sizable and cheered for their team. I've seen much worse from parents than this year than either of these student sections. North chants included ripping on their own goalie. It was tacky. Freemark was the best player on the ice last night. None ...

Talked to an assistant coach today for LS JV team. He told me Weber told he D coach not to let Kloos out anymore about mid way through the 3rd but he played him anyways and Weber was pissed. He told me Weber went into the Winona locker room after the game and apologized to the coaches and players o...

If thats the case then those making the assumptions are just as bad. I am a Lakeville parent and have chosen to stay on the sideline while both my kids played their way through the system. What people on the outside believe and reality are two different things. Is Kurt Weber the perfect coach...no....

I hate these blowouts and wish they didn't happen but they do. But let's be honest this isn't a Lakeville South issue, this is a get rid of Kurt Weber issue. This is not the first or last time we'll see this...see BSM results...but it seems the LS coach messed up. There have been several arguements defending South's use of its top players late in this game but I find none of them compelling enough to to justify it. They backed off several teams during t...

Bottom line is Kloos should have been in the USHL so the score could have been 15-0. I think that must be what they want, or we'd be talking about the teams I mentioned above or let's see, Eagan? Edina? Let's throw those coaches out too. Winona got beat by Century and JM by 10 and 11 goals this yea...

Where is all the outrage when BSM "runs up the score"? I missed them, where are the threads on Tonka and OMG tonight? What is Baskin doing on the ice scoring goals in the 3rd?
Or maybe it's all just a bunch of parents from North having a good time, eh?

Re: Lakeville South vs Winona? Please tell me this is false.

Just got home from the EP-Armstrong game tonight and was searching box scores on mnhockeyhub. I click through the games, and see Lakeville South defeated Winona 19-0. I then see Mr. Hockey candidate Justin Klooos with 8 assists. I am thinking to myself; how is this possible? I then check the box sc...

ty. its too bad you didn't keep more records. I'd bet #24 for North saw more ice tonight.
