I suppose it's easy to ridicule a guy doing a job like that. I know I wouldn't want to try it. I like having a guy with Housley's insight and experience in the booth myself. When are you gonna quit kissing this guys butt. Since I don't know him personally and have never met the man I don't quite un...

If last year's 12UB banquet at Breezy Point is a guide, having the parents and families in attendance added to the experience for the girls, coaches, and managers. Hopefully they'll have a better speaker. It was bad enough that he was unbelievably boring, but the self promoting made it very hard to...

anyone else think its funny how in order to make it to state St Thomas had to move to District 8?????? The rules of Minnesota Hockey required they play in district 8. It wasn't a choice. Cadets36- your not doing your team anygood by spouting off on this board. Play the games, and as they say, do yo...

Re: Centennial vs Riverhawks

Wow, again what a dissappointing day for girls hockey. I am the proud parent of #27 of the Riverhawks. Better known I guess as the 4 ft nothing..60 pound "diver" for the Riverhawks. I can't for the life of me figure out why we must bring individual kids in to these discussions. I would ne...

The goalie for Hastings made a stop on a shot from the point and it slid through his pads to the point where it was on the goal line but not across it. He laid back and covered it but the ref blew the whistle and called it in. I have no bias seeing as I am from Woodbury but from what I saw it was n...

OntheIce, I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes or put that whole game on the refs but there were a few calls that impacted the game's score. That being said, St. Thomas still certainly played tough How was the score impacted. How would it have been different. I wasn't at the game. Can you elabor...

Earlier today it said St. Thomas lost 3-1... Now it says 4-0 win. WHAT is going on? Woodbury and Hastings are both great. I play on Woodbury though so I don't want to sound cocky saying our team is great. I assume you're refering to the stickstats site . I can assure you STA won 4-0 over lakeville....

Re: New Programs in the coming years...

Just last year we saw Meadow Creek Christian have a hockey team, but we have also seen programs around the state get smaller or go away. It would be great to see next programs build up, co-oped teams able to "un-co-op" and such so more kids have an opportunity to play. Personally, I would...

Re: Private School Have their Own State Tourney's

I would brought this up in a few of my posts and what to know other peoples opinions on private schools having their own section or even their own state tourament. I know myself, and most hockey fans that I talk to agree that they should not co-exist with public schools. Obviously a Publik Skoolz g...
