Re: WNHL

There already is a pro women's hockey league, its like WWHL or some other WWH_ acronym. Minnesota had a team called the White Caps. They played teams mostly in Canada. I don't know what their crowds were like, but I do know they only had 6 home games. 5 at Ridder, and one at Breck.

I don't know if he's on a power trip or what, he just delivered a similar spam message on the wildboard I contribute to. Re: CDH

Why should the Classic Suburban Conference shoulder the brunt of 3 private schools? Also it is horribly inconvenient to let in a school without its own facilities. There is no football/soccer facility, and the conference would be forced (like some teams already are in the playoffs), to play at a Sai...

Yeah the Sibley job presents a great opportunity to rebuild a program. There is talent in the system, and if a new coach can just get it down to a few less kids going to the privates they could be strong.

They have always had, and always will have kids going to STA. Re: Sibley

Well for sometime the program has been losing kids, and now that Sibley will have a new coach, they may get some kids to stay in the program. There was talk that if Reddy stayed, they might not have a Junior Varsity team next year, maybe a new coach can pull the kids back. They've been losing kids t...

Re: the fans

I've never heard of Wild ticket holders getting "first crack at the tickets". I highly doubt it. The MSHSL has a waiting list to get "season tickets" which are good for all tournament games, so I doubt Wild season ticket people would get to superceed the list.

The older folks who have had to...

Wow, so it was that serious. I saw them carry him off, and work on him on ice, and it looked like they had decided on the knee as the problem. That must've caused him a lot of pain. I wish him a speedy recovery, and if he's not a senior, hopefully he'll be skating again in a few months ready to try ...

Re: Student Sections...You should be ashamed of yourselves

Hockey isn't basketball. People should sit during the game. Its curtousey to the people behind you. SSP people are taught this from an early age, too bad other teams fans weren't. You sit while the puck is in play, its that simple. Standing during great offensive/defensive plays is permissible, but ...

Re: We lose sight sometimes

Well they can comfort themselves in the fact that they played well throughout the tournament. They made their fans proud. They played Breck tougher than any team in the tournament, they battled back from 2 deficits to tie the game late, (2 goals against Breck, 3 against Hibbing). Alex Stalock had an...

Short-handed Orono goal, puts them up 4-2. Nice goal, classic 2 on one play. The kid who scored it has the hat trick.
Puckster

www.wildpuck.com

Re: KMSP's last year

I think the Wild games are done fairly poorly by 9. FSN does an ok job, but even then it could have been better. They have different people for the Wild, but the camera's should all be the same. In an ideal world, I'd like to see what another channel, like 4, could do with a Wild game. Of course I h...

As far as I heard, neither school's fans went to that level of jeers. I don't remember hearing any of those kind of chants, or the other ones, and I think both student sections should be commended. Its the league. They don't want fans critical of the calls to boo, or throw things on the ice, so no replays period. I think its a bad rule.
Puckster

www.wildpuck.com
