The last time Minnesota had first round draft choices(3) was in 2010 15 Derek Forbert, Duluth East 19 Nick Bjugstad, Blaine 30 Brock Nelson, Warroad Did Bernie travel to train them?  Thanks for taking Minnesota Hockey out of the "Dark Ages". ](*,) I would BET that the correllat...

The purpose of the NTDP is to develop players to participate in International tournaments, and to that, the U-17 was very competitive this past year. I wouldn't pay much attention to their win/loss record in the USHL, as someone else already mentioned, they are playing against guys 2+ years older t...

Senior I think. He was in the same class as Guentzel and LaValle I thought...
Voltin will be a senior next year.

I think they were good enough to win it all even if the injury never occurred.

I hate to say it, but I think BSM is the favorite now.....I'll be rooting for Moorhead, however.

I think Lou is great and hope he'll continue to work these games for as long as he can......48 years and counting.

I'll agree with those who think Housley should go......he's awful.

My List of Teams I Love to Hate:

1. BSM: While I respect that they have the gonads to play at the AA level, I absolutely do not care for their head coach.

2. St Thomas Academy: Sandbaggers.

3. Breck: Sandbaggers.

4. Totino-Grace: Sandbaggers.

Will there be a reason for North Metro to continue their association? Would think the Fridley and Heights kids would go to Irondale. Fridley and Heights high school kids will play at Irondale next season. Was in talks with North metro about getting the Fridley and Heights players at the youth level...

Muck you're right, no A team in our town. Nearest is 60 miles away. Why would I move? Or make my kid change schools? No house payment, make @200K, class sizes are small, good teachers. Can snowmobile and four wheeler out my back door, be fishing and hunting in 5 minutes. Bike trails, ski trails, an...

Muck? It looks as though District 10 hasn't moved forward with the District-sponsored "A" team...what do you want from me? It was proposed, there were some discussions, but never went any further than that. I think it's a good idea. It contradicted your opinion on the abilities of some kids that ar...

I guess my kid was the rare occurrence where a B1 was better that quite a few A players from around the state. It is unfortunate that kids in the cities will never get the chance to prove that. 16's next year is a whole new opportunity. Does your association have an "A" team? If not, and based on h...

For the past two years, Edina has brought a different team to state. In 2010, an underperforming season led to a big surprise championship over an exhausted Tonka. In 2011, a great season led to a completely forgettable 4th place finish. Which team shows up this year? I think they overperformed thi...
