I am genuinely surprised that with schools all now in session that there hasn't been much transfer movement....or is it that people on this board just aren't sharing information? :)
I've seen plenty of movement in past years just after final varsity cuts. So we have some time yet...

Re: 21/22 Schedules

Waiting to see what kind of schedule Gentry was able to put together. Can they play anyone tough? You'd think Hill, Stillwater and White Bear Lake would give them a game since they could face them at sections... EDIT: Guess Not. The hockey hub has Hill's schedule ( and I believe two rivers must be f...

Shawn Reid to Hill-Murray. A good get for my squad. https://www.mngirlshockeyhub.com/news_article/show/1173047 With his new job across town requiring him to drive into the rising and setting sun most days, Shawn Reid invested in a pair of sunglasses. Reid, the longtime successful Blake girls’ hockey...

a few upset mommies and daddies.
That does seem to be the annoying trend. It is getting to be a thankless job being a coach. You have 100 kids show up for varsity tryouts and you only get to give 20 something a shot. Its a sad state of affairs...

Re: Hockey Hub 21-22 top 26 AA teams

It will be interesting to see what schools are willing to play Gentry next year. They'll need to completely upgrade the schedule (other than Hermantown would be entertaining) to be ready for AA. But as we know, some coaches already have said they won't play them.

Wow. The things that I would have done like putting Rosemount or Prior Lake in 1 and diluting 2 & 6 a bit by shutting a team into 3 & 5 are exactly the opposite of what happened. Southwest Metro suburban hockey is far and away the state’s best and MSHSL doesn’t want to see much representation at st...

Gentry has the one thing which is hard to teach/coach- speed. But they also are strong skater, passers and shooters. Also disciplined and smart. People may not like the Gentry concept but you have to admire the hockey. But applause for EgF effort also. They were definitely bigger and faster. I was ...

Moorhead has been the better team through 2 periods. A one goal game, so anything can happen, but Lakeville is disappointing big time.

Its also interesting to wonder what WBL had to provide to prove it. Could a kid just say he was positive? Does he have to show proof? Not saying that's what happened. I know nothing. But I wonder where HIPAA laws take over.

Re: Hill-Murray Update

One solution is to follow the rules set up by the Department of Health. Another solution is for every team to COVID test the day of their game. That's the elephant in the room here. Hill-Murray could go get tested before their game tomorrow. Will they file a lawsuit if a team member tests positive?...

Hill has 0 positive tests. Why should they be punished because their last opponent suddenly has a positive test 5 days later? Doesn’t feel like the same thing when they don’t have any positive tests in their program. I haven’t seen any team have a game canceled because a previous opponent had a pos...

Wayzata in a no contest is the way it looks right now.
Hill's JV hasn't played in over a month. I'm sure they'd suit up. They were undefeated this year, but I doubt they could challenge Wayzata. But that would be better than a no contest.
