cdale,

I don't care where the refs were from. These boys are bantams, and physical hockey is part of the game. They were calling all kinds of penalties that were just your ordinary checks. I never said anything about the score, I just said let the boys play hockey...!!!

OMG 7 Lakeville North 2 District 6 refs were again totally out of control. Given alternatives to these tournaments, these tournaments are going to start losing teams. I know it's already affected Edina with theirs, all do to refs. . So a 7-2 game woulda been totally different with a ref from...

Um.....no...the semis are on the WINNERS side of the brackets. They lost their 1st game, but did a great job coming all the way back, but then lost to Rochester. Roch then had to play Mankato to go to state. If they would have won that game against Roch they would have played Mankato. So again, not...

THat guy has been kick out of every assoviation his kids went through. I think it was three. I saw him at a coaches clinic once and he could not even skate.

Wow bad choice. It won't be long until his colors come out.
Isn't he the idiot that used to coach the 96 snipers????

If you check out some of the Tier 1 teams from the rest of USA. They have teams all the way thru U16. So even if a kid is in his 2nd year as a Bantam as a 97, The Fire could have a team for those skaters for two more years.

Check out the Chicago Mission website....

inthenet, Hug your coach you may win another weak tourney. He should be up for coach of the year for finding tourneys they can win. It must be all about winning or they would get into tourneys that are competative to their level. p.s. dont forget to hug your coach because he's the best, he won anot...

Roger, instead of running down a coach for putting his team in a open, invite, or elite tournament, maybe you should have a talk with the tournament director. He's the one collecting the checks.

94 tourney had some top notch teams playing with some of the best 94's in the state competing. Fast, physical games with some outstanding talent on all the teams. Iowa Jr Blackhawks (all Minnesota kids I believe) were outstanding. Could probably beat a LOT of High School A Varsity teams, they were ...
