Well Ponies a better effort would have been nice but you could sense the nerves were on full tilt. 3 bad bounces that lead to goals and a very good Edina team were just too much to ask for in the first trip to State. Congrats on getting there and remember you can still make this a trip to remember.

All in fun!! Besides I have been there....supporting the many hill kids from Stillwater and beyond for years.........Hopefully they follow the example Hill has left while attending State rather then the other Section 4 team that shows up once every 10 yrs or so.

Nope. This is the least nervous I've been in years. Stillwater has no shot. They also have no fans on this forum so it's a one sided debate

So....how are you feeling now?

Eagles....what do you think helped with the great ice this year??? 50+ days below zero!! Any other winter that place has the slowest ice in town. And it gets worse when the stands are full for 2 games.

Congrats to Stillwater. What a huge win for their program. Why do I feel like this would have NEVER happened with Housley behind bench? I always find it great to see teams take on the personality that their coach had as a player. Doman was a scrappy, in your face, win at all costs kinda player. Coo...

After watching many NA games last year and numerous MIAC this year....no way an NA team beats a MIAC team. Rochester Ice hawks could put a team in the NA and be successful before an NA team could pull thier weight in the MIAC. St Marys plays a JV schedule and uses the 4th line varsity players some o...

he bounced back and forth from Def to For as youth.

Schmidt and Alt played together when they were with the Blades....seems that would be a good fit.

If your SON wants to play hockey after high school take this into consideration. I just went through the Junior hockey carousel with my son, he wanted to continue playing and will be playing D-3 hockey next season. depends on how much you are skating. If he is on the ice every day buy a better quality pair. The steel is better and materials used will last longer, but by no means does he need the total one or reebok 20's the next price point line will tackle most young players needs.

Good Luck to those heading to Juniors next season. With 7 NAHL teams closing the doors for at least 1 season there will be more competition for open roster spots...........and so called tendered spots.

How does the MSHSL allow the Dean of Students at Lakeville South high school be a ref for this game? Boche was trying to make up for some of Lakeville's Friday evening pain. Yes the spear was a needed call but how many chances did he have to give Hill at the end?

Re: schedule

-I would make all district games a home and home each weekend. You play Saturday at one place, Sunday at the other. All weekend ice is game ice, you have Sunday night through Friday to schedule practices or scrimmages. Doing so may allow you to have that one extra night a week for schoolwork and ot...
