Re: Buffalo
Yeah they had an excellent weekend in Rochester... . How will they beat or even compete with Roseau or Moorhead when they can't even beat one of the three ...

Re: austin vs mayo
Austin's D the best in the state??? youve got to be kidding me. Maybe the best in the big 9...maybe. Do you think this just because of Kirby or what?

Re: games 12/15
If you ask me as of right now the top 3 teams all look like class A schools Austin, East, and Faribo. I don't know about JM yet though they have only played West and Winona as an inconference game but they had a pretty tough time with West from what i hear.
JM 3 AL 2
Faribo 5 Austin 3
Centu...

Re: ha
How can you say Zach Owens wont work hard? The kid is huge and playing physical is a big part of his game. I played with him last year in Elite 2 and he was one of, if not the hardest working kids on the team.

Lourdes
Lourdes first line will be Brandon Bahneman, Zach Owens, and Eric Amundson. All three very good players. I have no idea what they have behind that first line but I'm sure they will be pretty good. I'm highly doubting a state championship but I think contention for their section again this year if a ...

im pretty sure nobody had too much trouble stopping lapinski and patricka last year. They are definitely both good players dont get me wrong but ur acting like they are gonna lead faribo to state.

Re: Rochester Hockey
I find it hard to believe that a team that lost 7 of 9 forwards on the first 3 lines and the best goalie anywhere south of the twin cities is just gonna walk all over everybody and that Mayo has no chance. Im sure century will be good, they always are but I think Mayo will have a solid team this yea...

The way I remember it was East won 7-2 and oh yeah thats actually what it was. And oh yeah East only lost 3 starters out of the top 13 skaters and bring back an all big 9 goalie. Austin has 1 great player in Kirby, and 2 decent goalies. Isakson is a good goalie but not as good as Olson, and hes gonn...

Re: Marvin
I think Quinn Ellingson should have been on there for Albert Lea either ahead of Breuer or somebody else. He had 5 goals and 2 assists including a 4 goal game in the consolation championship. But I suppose they put Breuer on there ahead of him because of the Herb Brooks thing.

Re: Albert Lea vs. East
I'm already making my prediction for the same teams in the same type of game next year for the 1A crown. Friday night was an excellent game! I agree Wenzel being 100% wouldve helped and his muscle was actually tore and wasnt even supposed to be playing. 6-1 penalties in any game doesnt look very goo...

Re: al
Congrats to Albert Lea for winning a very hard faught game Friday night which was probably the best game I saw all year. But the Freshman in goal did look shakey and like he got lucky on quite a few saves. I can believe Breck is quite a bit deeper than the 2 lines that Albert Lea has and agree that ...
