27% of Hill's Section 4AA Roster came through the Stillwater Association Tim Shaughnessy Andy Faust Willie Faust David Bruchu Ben Bahe Chris Casto WOW! Could of handed the 4AA title to Stillwater. Doubtful since none of these guys would have played for Housely. I think Faust was at their su...

PPG did STillwater play DE this year?? No. Did tartan play Park? Yes It's called common opponent. Just like MV and Woodbury were between the 2. I am sure he will show as much class as the Hill players deserve. About as much class that they showed at the last Stillwater game they went to. Think you ...

I believe Hill Murray's JV team is undefeated so far this year. Correct me if I'm wrong, however. You are correct. They won the gold division of the Schwan's Cup and have beaten STA's JV 4 times this year (quirk in their schedule and also played them in the Schwan's Cup). I believe half of their wi...

I suspect the evening went something like this. It was a long bus ride from Stillwater to Maplewood and along the way, the bus hit a pot-hole. As a result, some of the players suffered injuries which caused Housley to have to juggle his line-up. The game started and saw the Ponies actually grab a l...

Is it true that Housley blackballs kids attending Hill and other schools from playing A bantams and maybe some peewees? I heard that at a select tourney this year. If its true, I lose a lot of respect for a guy I admired as a kid. Absolutely not true from my perspective. We had a couple of kids on ...

my thoughts on "Best sign in the HM student section: Stillwater - Producing the Hill-Murray Varsity since 1971." On Hill's starting line up 4 of 6 are from stillwater association hockey, including the goalie. I think it's 8 total players on the Hill team tonight are from stillwater. Just think what...

it would be interesting to see a freshman/soph. breakdown. Zach McCarver from n.s.p. was up in st. cloud last summer - surprised his name is not here. Is LaValle from h.m. a 93 or 94 ? I am pretty sure the mahtomedi goalies first name is Sawyer, not his last name. And if you go to the Fhit Hockey p...

isn't a majority of these kids in this Squirt league there as a result of their bitter parents? I know 3 kids from our association that are there because they didn't make the team their parents thought they should play on the previous year. Two of them had no shot at the 'A' team this season and on...

Re: Bring it on!

You, know to be honest with you, I love mn hockey and I love the opportunity for youth teams to win a title that means something in the state of hockey. However, with that said, I am ready for AAA hockey, I am ready for 8-10 elite teams to play in the state and compete at a national level. We can k...

I have to agree...rotating the players is a good thing at this age. My kid played defense both years unitil squirts where they finally rotated him to let him try playing forward. He is now a bantam and plays forward-but if needed he doesnt have a problem playing D. Last year one of his buddies made ...
