STA and Breck are the reason why they delayed the start off Friday afternoon's game for close to a half hour. There were so many people waiting in line for tickets to watch the game that the line stretched out the X and almost to Crowne Plaza. They opened the second deck for a Class A semifinal game...

I would love to hear what some of you "geniuses" call "recruiting". I would say that 99.9% of the time it is the players talking to other players about coming to play for there program. Yes, they have an advantage because they can get a payer from basically anywhere. But it is good players wanting t...

Someone ALWAYS has to bring up this ORIGINAL topic every year around state tourney time. Funny thing is... IF Hermantown and STA meet again in the championship game. It could easily be one of the most attended Class A championship games in a LONG time! These two teams have been on a collision course...

If you havent had a chance to watch Tom Novak you should. As a freshman he has worked his way up to the top line! Last freshman to play there way into the top line as a freshman was defenseman Eric Schurhamer... Mr hockey finalist.

Breck is better than STA.
Thank you for the insight Nostradamus!

After watching the STA vs AHA game, i can say that AHA would be lucky to win a game even if it was in the SILVER division

Wait, AHA is not losing to teams in the Missota this year. they lost one and won one. Chanhassen got up early, had AHA kept it close of gotten up first they would have beaten Chanhassen. Chanhassen lost to AHA both times last year in OT, give Chanhassen some credit they are a good team. Also to say...

AHA is losing to teams in the Missota conference this year and only beat New Prague by 3 goals while losing to Benilde by 13 GOALS! STA may be down a little from last year. Benilde beat Hill by 1 and STA lost to Hill by 1 in game where the shots heavily favored to STA. STA over Hill by at least 3 Ea...

Eric Schurhamer

Per heisenbergs list, looks like he committed yesterday. I have seen him play a couple times and IMO he has some talent.

The way I see it is Hermantown should get some consideration. They went undefeated in Class A and if my calculations are correct they have the overall better record than St. Thomas. They have fared well against some very good teams and even though they didn't beat Hibbing or Thief River Falls, they...

TOP JUNIOR players by position

Well I havent seen anything on top junior players so far this year. The junior year is big in terms of positioning for scholarships and juniors. Who is going to be getting some looks at the end of the year and going into next year?

Already committed:

AJ Michaelson - Minnesota

but they are going to be WAY too deep for STA but HM will ROLL ALL OVER THEM Just curious how much of the green leaf you had back in your college days, assuming you went. Last year Hill won at STA 4-2 and STA won at Hill 3-1. Both graduated some D1 prospects but have majority of team returning.....

HAHA.... I find myself laughing out loud when i see people saying this game wont be "close". STA has shown they can play with the best of the BIG schools(largest margin of defeat is 2 goals not to mention sog are alwats very close). It will be a great game and i bet the final score is 4-3.

It sounds like all the "bathroom"/smoke breaks on the way to roseau started catching up unfortunately. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery. I used to play for him and the guy loved his heaters.

Interesting note on the D selection. if I remember right from last year there are 6 teams in the league and there are 18 underclassmen(junior and below) defenseman picks. Could be some interesting match ups during the season if the numbers work out to 3 underclassmen and 3 seniors per team on defense.
