Are they really that good?
How did they come out of Warroad with only a 3 -1 win only outshooting Warroad 30 - 28 when the District Director said this Warroad team was a 6th seed in the District at best behind Roseau, TRF, EGF, Bemidji and Crookston. Let's see Warroad 11 - TRF 0, EGF 4 -Warroad 3 with an EGF daddy reffing(Viz...

Which was he?
Which EGF goalie was he Saturday? The one who let three out of the first five shots in against Warroad including a laser from the center red line that bent the goalie's catching mitt over and flopped in the net or the one who gave up 7 in a running time third in a 18 - 1 blowout?.....<!--EZCODE EMOT...

Re: International Falls Bantams
That would be right elliot70, that's why I questioned it. Here's one for you. I'Falls called and cancelled our Monday night match-up IN I'Falls after our very one-sided scrimmage, no real reason given. Funny, game cancelled when the boys have a chance at exacting some payback....<!--EZCODE EMOTICON ...

Re: International Falls Bantams
They brought 15 kids and a goalie to Warroad and were outscored 6 - 1 by Warroad in a scrimmage. Was told three of their players were missing but two Warroad A players were also missing. I know Warroad played with jumbled lines all night as they didn't want to show their hand for the 15th. Russo?? w...

I settled in to watch this with the boss and I'm snoring in like thirty seconds wake-up right after the final buzzer see the score asked her what happened she said the Sioux sucked, I saw the highlights and knew that I was gonna get my chops busted. not in total agreement
In most cases up here the B coach is a dad of a B player who may not have much hockey background but steps forward so the team has a coach period. So the 11th thru 15th players are usually better served on the A team where quality coaches are emphasized and they have a better learning experience. As...

bdabbt75 forgets
I believe Coach Blais basically came out of the HS ranks. First at Minot and ultimately Roseau winning the crown in '90. With a few other stops along the way. He did spend a season as a national assistant prior to going to UND, correct? So, it can be done; you seem to forget Coach Eades has both a J...

FSN prediction
I saw a blurb on this on FSN Sports Friday night they were claiming Sandelien was the front runner. Huge blow for the Dawg faithful if it proves to hold true....Although Virg Foss in an article in the Grand Forks Herald says Blais is recommending Hakstol for the position and he has been named interm...

Maybe he should be called Eddie Money
Eddie Shore hit that one out of the park. He's got the front runners right with Hakstol & Johnson. Eades will make the starting gate but has to be considered a long shot in this field. I think he's got the skill sets and pedigree for the job I just think he stayed in the high school level too long. ...

Thank God for small miracles
I know this deviates a bit but I thank God that Mike Marvin or any of his cronies (Tonto or Izzy or Whale) aren't in the same position as the principal that led the crusade against Coach Randolph. He's been trying for years to piss Coach Eades off enough to make him leave because he can't get him fi...

Coaches of the Year
Haven't heard who the coaches of the year are yet, but I have to say Hibbing's head coach did a GREAT job this season getting his team steered in the right direction. Really a nice job guiding his team to a third place finish. I know there was a coaches thread but was unable to find it. Also liked t...

Finally see what all the fuss was about.
No REAL interest in the win/loss of this one other than pulling for the Section 8 bretheren, so watched what turned out to be a dandy. Typical TV coverage kissed up to ER all night, kind of silly. I see why people complained all season about ER and DIRTY. The most stick work I've seen in a LONG time...

Between the minute he played in the 2003 section finals against TRF (almost the scariest minute in my wife's life) and today's performance, it's pretty clear he's NOT ready to step in next season. Where's Fleetwood when you need him.
To bad I chased Fleetwood away early this season. My goodness after he figures out his kids save percentage he'll be reaching for the Maalox. Four goals on 12 shots that's a whole .667 save % that's just plain awful. Fleetwood, I hope this teaches you a lesson about ripping on one of your son's coac...

What are you talking about? You completely missed my point the upset was in reference to the Upset Thread about the state tourney, were I said that an Orono win would be a MINOR upset. Personally thought that LOW was a pretty good club read the threads had said that the section final would go to the...

Hate to say I told you so. I know I said running time five goals is darn close a lot closer to my spread than the 5 - 2 that most were saying and even closer than a WDC win. And then the second half of the prediction was a 2 and a Bar-B-Que. Right on the money with that one so fella I think you own ...

The "Amazing Kreskin Glasses" have got me focused in on this one. I just have a gut hunch (yes, I know it's a big one) that the Warriors may let this one slip through their fingers. They seem to be gripping the sticks a little too tight (frankly, would like to see those Harrows stuffed in the trash ...
