East Grand Forks played 15 teams in regular season (not counting WI teams that I do not have immediate info on). 11 had winning records. Of the 4 one was Moorhead at 13-13-1. . Total record 234-147-25. 2 worst were 7-16-4 and 6-18-3 = Crookston and Lake of the Woods? Those teams would be top 5 seed...

tied 3-3, less than 4 minutes

TG leading 2-1 after 2 periods. TG dominating play, outshooting Luverne now 28-17. Luverne coaching better fire the team up between periods to turn this much of a momentum swing away from TG.

Cardinals score first. 1-0 with about 4 to go in the first.

Luverne wins 5-2. Good win for them, hopefully they fare as well in the Consolation Championship game.

I will throw out a prediction of 5-3 for the small school. I see New Ulm scoring first but the depth of Luverne wearing them out late in the second & third. Will be a fun game to watch, hopefully Luverne's defense will do a better job handling the puck in their d-zone.
