I believe i found the cause of the cuts on the forehead. I may be wrong, but underneaath the foam padding on the forehead there are a bunch of plastic circle type deals i believe they call the "seven technology." Based on the relation of the position of those objects in the helmets to the ...

I may be wrong on this, but last year at the Hockey Expo I was talking with the Messier sales rep. He said that the flexibility is to help prevent concussions by transfering the blow throughout the entire head, rather than one spot, thus making the brain not hit the skull as hard? I believe the fle...

I get cut across the forehead almost everytime i make a hard hit, yet there is nothing that looks to be the obvious cause in my helmet. Its been happening all season.

We have the M11s on our team and throughout this season, everytime i make hard contact with another player my forehead gets a large gash. Ive checked and double checked the helmet but theres nothing that seems like an obvious result. Its basically been a gameday routine having to have my forehead fi...

Ville was originally supposed to attend East but his host family dropped out and no one else was able to house him.

Everyone has made fair points here, whether for or against 'mercy methods'. But honestly, to us as a team it didn't really matter whether they played their best players or worst players or played keep-away or didn't. Obviously we knew the game was lost and we just played the game for us and just foc...

15 players is all we have. 3 are goalies and two are out with injury.
So you dont have a JV?
Ha no. We hardly have a varsity. We graduated 15 seniors and don't have many young players.[/url]

As an East player myself who was out there last night, I would like to say that we did not even consider for a second "throwing in the towel and skating off the ice". The entire team remained positive throughout the whole game and gave the best effort we could. We knew that it was gonna be...

Re: please rate the top 3 players and what they bring to rin

Carlson is a nice player I like Sean Lipinski a lot at Faribault. Usually we have at least 9 to 10 real strong players Drew Weber at West is pretty good. Please list the top 3 players at each team if you would I have lost touch. Can u do that Itech22 you are all over it? I cannot wait for the seaso...

High school athletes should not be one dimensional. Playing multiple sports increases their athleticism, strength, speed, and competitive edge. Personally, my coaches in football, baseball, and hockey all strongly discourage playing just one sport and in case of our football team, being a multi-spor...

Correct, with only 14 or 15 players, East will be a Varsity only program for this season.

ive got the USA. they built momentum for themselves in the Canada game and even more with the 3rd period victory over the Swiss and i think that momentum will carry over into this game. USA 3-1

Although the past few years have been blow out games for West, i think that the rivalry between Mankato East and MAnkato West will heat up and be a good two games this year.
