Re: Final Five - (5) Minnesota Duluth vs (4) Minnesota
Both teams swept their first round playoff series. The Bulldogs took both games from CC in Colorado Springs, while the Gophers beat SCSU at Mariucci. The Gophers are 1-0-1 against UMD this year. Who wins, and why? Gophers are on a roll. This should be a fun game to watch..... if you like offense. I...

Re: WCHA First Round-(7) Minnesota Duluth @ (4) Colorado Col
Colorado College (16-10-10) will welcome the Bulldogs (16-12-8) to Colorado Springs this weekend. UMD beat and tied the Tigers in the only regular season meeting this year, which was in Colorado. However, the Bulldogs haven't been hot lately- they've gone 0-3-2 in their last five, included being sw...

Where would you rate the Ice Hawks as a junior program? Tonight against the Minnesota Owls, they scored 12 goals adding to there total of 330 heading into the game on the year. The GF now is 342 and the GA is 102. This is a physical team and fun to watch them play. Where would you rate them in all o...

Re: Dan Teerhar and Mike Greenlay or Clay Matvick and Phil H
Why aren't Dan Teerhar and Mike Greenlay doing the high school games? Don't they do the games for the Wild on 45? They are a lot better than the two that are doing it now. Personally I think Teerhar and Greenlay are the best announcers for hockey in Minnesota. And this is a premier event in Minneso...

Re: Best district support of team
Just curious to know to what extent districts support their teams at tourneys. Little Falls is only allowing a very limited percentage of their teachers (14 out of over 150) to go support the Flyers at tomorrow's game. Even though the high school in particular has been at half capacity since Wednes...

Re: Next Year Big Nine
Who looks good for the 09-10 season? I know JM has a lot of returning Sophomores but are there any decent Juniors returning? Mayo will have a good goalie next year. He will be a Junior next year, but other than that their team is pretty weak. I think it will be Albert Lea winning the big nine next ...

Re: WCHA First Round - (6) St. Cloud State @ (5) Minnesota
The Gophers (15-12-7) and Huskies (18-15-3) will renew their rivalry this weekend at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis. The Gophers have owned St. Cloud this year, winning all four meetings between these teams thus far. However, the Gophers could be in trouble if they can't find a way to keep the puck ...

Do you think the Wild should try and go after one or both of the Sedin bros in the offseason? We need more scoring depth and they would provide it. What do you think?

Cam Sellnow out of Century has been strong as of late. He's one of the reasons they made it to state. Let's see if he can handle the nerves in his first state tourney.Nostalgic Nerd wrote:Who are the best goaltenders going into the tourney?

The WCHA Regular Season Champion Fighting Sioux open the WCHA playoffs at home against the Michigan Tech Huskies this weekend. The Denver Pioneers (20-10-5) will play host to the Seawolves from Alaska Anchorage (14-15-5) this weekend in Denver. The Pioneers finished their season with a tie against rival Colorado College, while AA swept Minnesota Duluth at the DECC in Duluth. These teams split earlier in the season. Who win...
