There's some recent history with North that isn't all that pleasant. The way the whole thing ended for their former coach and how the new coach came rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. It is what it is though. In 1AA they brought maybe 50 students to the championship game, pretty sad, Farmington ...

Eagan to me is a dark horse as they have strong team defense and goaltending and maybe externally not the expectation or pressure to get to state.. Well there certainly aren't any great expectations if you look at the Section Winner Picking contest stickied on the top of this forum...only 6 of the ...

Re: f

Losing 1-0 to a very very good Prior Lake team doesn't automatically drop North from the top spot...the reality is that there's 5 or 6 teams in the TOP TIER..you can rank them anyway you want, it really doesn't matter they're all in the same league... Might be a stretch to call a 10-12-1 team "very...

ECM did not win AA last year.

Thought I heard Elk River does.. just wondering if anyone else is doing this?

Fees the same as players but our association will pick up all gear short of skates, helmet, stick, breezers.

I attended both games and I am more impressed with Eastviews effort that White Bears. It should be noted that I am not one of the many Hillmurray bashers, I actually like them and have cheered for them since I was a kid, I just think after seeing Eastview that they could really give Hill some troub...

Number 18 for eastview had a great game kicking butt on eagans 16 and 27.That was the difference in the game. Thanks for the tunnel-vision recap Mr. Meuhlbauer. I guess it's true what they, the sun does shine of every dogs ... Perhaps you should try being as gracious in victory as the Wildcat fans ...

Well done Eastview!! Something in the water out there? In the past 12 months they have had quite the run in athletics. Lax, soccer, baseball titles. Great football season and now this. Congrats! One of the most compelling story lines in this section appears to be a depth of goaltenders. Eagan's Lindgren, Cretin's Jancze, and Eastview's Driscoll appear to have had very good regular seasons and ostensibly good stats. Will one of these goalies get hot? It is not out of the realm of possibilit...

How will it all work from the schools point of view - is there anything they can/would do for his representation? Suspension, etc. - or are they likely to not become involved?

This team has enough to make a scare in the weak section. Go Tigers!
