Heard about and then saw a player play that is committed to Harvard this weekend at OS Prospects. According to the google she attended and played for Selects Academy last year and is from Idaho. Word at the rink is she will be playing for Edina this upcoming season. She is a forward who is a rising...

I don't see schedules or rosters for the Elite League. Have the tryout kids been notified? Do those who receive 'no' votes have an opportunity to land in one of the other two leagues?

What is the tryout process for the Elite League? Well that is the million dollar question this year. Is there ambiguity? My understanding is U16 teams are filled first by skaters who qualified for a USA Hockey Development camp (names released yesterday). Has that changed? You are correct both u-19 ...

I think that there are roughly 10 16's(01)
It looks like 15 01's. 14 10th graders and 1 9th grader [also a 9th grade 02]

I love this process as it compares kids same age and no AAA DADs(coaches) hand picking their favorites. True that there are not many dads, but you can't remove this from the process entirely. High school coaches are human. And it looks like some kids have accumulated hero points (for any dungeon an...

Look at the College ranks as well as no more cake walks for the Big 4 teams at the D1 level as more blue chip players so other colleges can get them. There are still only 4 different programs that have won a national championship; 3 of those 4 were in the final 4 - the 4th lost in the quarterfinals...

13 kids total from Brainerd and North Wright County on 16's section 8.
Were there any cuts, or did 18 skaters tryout?
If NWC had 5 D and a goalie at 01, and a D at 00, they should have never been scored on in the section tourney.

Farmington might be on the down turn It looks like the Tigers only graduate 2 seniors (5 points). The state tourney was unexpected (maybe not by the Tigers), but they should be up, not down next year. Forest Lake will have Andover to deal with in the future as they are loaded 8th grade and below Fo...

As a private school, BSM has no legal requirement to post the job Just thought they might want to get the word out, like Holy Angels which does have their opening posted. But obviously BSM saw no need, since they (apparently) had already come to agreement with the new coach. Holy Angels is co-oped ...

Trying to get a better understanding on this; I read the MSHAL rules on classifying teams. Not knowing all the facts of MAML I have made some assumptions; school size of the 3 schools puts them in AA, somehow they managed to be placed in single A. The only way that happens is if they appeal. Appeal...

My point, "faulty logic" aside, was that the game was not a blowout and the cardinals won a game and lost the third in OT at that state tournament which no other team from 3A has ever done. The growth of that program is something to smile about if you care about MN high school hockey. No argument h...

We know Hermantown is going to win. BUT Luverne has made HS hockey a bit more exciting. Most of here like the Cards. I'm thinking the most you're referring to are all from Luverne. If you're not affiliated with the city I'm guessing a double digit goal differential is at the top of your wish list. ...

What do I know from behind a keyboard, but it looks like you "stomped" the team that finished dead last in the wright county with an empty net goal.

All schools recruit. Public and private in all sports. Some do it better than others. Hopkins, EP, East Ridge, Mtka., Mahotmedi, Apple Valley... and the list goes on. None of the recruiters you mention are 1A schools, so you extend the point that B, B, and SPU should move up with the other recruite...
