I can hardly contain myself after last night. I can deal with "a few" down years in football. Not so much here.

No reason Minnesota should finish in the bottom half of the conference three years in a row. What about Guentzel? Things seemed to slide after he left.

This is a year in which decisions will be made. No reason we should finish in the bottom half of the conference 3 or 4 years in a row.

I wish Leddy would have stayed another year. Thought he was developing well after the injury. Better UM than OKC or some CHL town.

Interesting...Ive been wondering more about the impact of Hill. Things started going south after he was hired. As for Ness he is still needs to get bigger. His defensive game isnt the strongest. I wondered if he should move to forward.

You dont see too many folks complaining about the Blackhawks. The NCAA is such a joke, the only go after schools they can push around. Schools like USC and Michigan have the resources to make the NCAA kiss their tails.

Hate to say, but I think its time we look in a new direction. No reason we should lose to BSU or be swept by UMD. Program has slipped for some reason.

I thin the coach should be from the collegiate ranks...In HS you can be good by having a large metro population to choose from. Recruiting is a different story.

Re: Ness

Can someone give me some info: does Ness know how to play defense in his own end? He cannot clear in front and is terrible in the corners. :( I was wondering if he would be better suited as a center. I dont think he has the strength or plays physical enough to be a D at this or the next level. Goph...

Don't you find it a little strange that this guy gets P.O.'d about the team exploring trade options, then throws a temper tantrum and demands to be traded (when that is what he was mad about in the first place), then won't return phone calls to the head coach or the owner? Oh and that other thing, ...

I wondered why the Dallas stars have an affiliate in Iowa, while Houston is the Wild affiliate. One reason may be Houston fans would not support a team perceived to be a farm team for a Dallas team. Same thing may be true in Iowa.

Re: Sedin bros

Do you think the Wild should try and go after one or both of the Sedin bros in the offseason? We need more scoring depth and they would provide it. What do you think? They would have to go after both of them. They will never play on separate teams. Are they wrapped that tight at the hip? If they do...

Going to be an interesting offseason. I assume Gabby will be gone trying to feed his family. SO what do the Wild do to improve the team. I think they need to make some moves to get a couple guys who can score.

I think Lucia has earned the right to finish his contract at least. I think he needs to recruit a few kids that will be there for 3 years. Many schools have the 'one and dones' lately, but UND usually has a stockpile of former Jr A guys who are on their last stop. Gives them size and experience...b...
