Assuming the "huddle" stats are correct, there's a third player on Albert Lea to keep an eye on in addition to Hillman and Christensen. Madi Passingham is an 8th grader who started to produce points towards the end of December. Also noticed that AL's last 4 loss's were only by a goal and 3...

The game is tonight in Warroad and will be played under Minnesota State High School rules except for there will be no checking. Warroad Coach Dennis Fermoyle heard from another coach that "the slowest skater on the women's team is faster than the faster skater on his team". Would be a fun ...

A good game from last night
Rochester Mayo/Lourde vs SSP 1-3<br><br>The game was 1-1 through 2 periods. SSP put up 2 in the third to come out on top 3-1. Rochester had some good scoring chances but SSP is tough to score on. They don't let you spend a lot of time in their zone. Very solid breakout and defense. <p></p><i></i>

I was also at the Rochester scrimmages. One possible explanation for some of the teams not playing their best games is that some teams, i.e. Totino, are still evaluating players so they are playing everyone - even girls that may not make the team.
