A coach calling someone out on the board, I love it. I hope this is someone pretending to be the coach. On another note, coaching does not make the team. Can it help at the high school --maybe a bit. The players either have it in their guts or they don't. If they do not, no amount of coaching will ...

Could not believe the lack of class displayed by the Winhawk students at the game. After the first Winhawk goal the students threw tennis balls on the ice, literally hundreds of them...along with a few fresh fish from the river! They crowded behind the Century goalie chanting all game long. Then to...

Re: Bad what??

Almost positive he will have to play JV this year and he lost a year of varsity by transferring. If he transfers back then he can play JV without losing anything. Bad attitude though. Because you got cut then you leave. He was not good enough. Try again next year. Remember AHA has over 60 kids tryi...

Re: Mayo?

Does Mayo play three lines or two lines with an occasional third line to give the top two lines a break? I know the Century coach will try and find matchups they can exploit. Ex: Putting his top line out when opponent sends out their third line. Orrrrrr, as was seen two years ago against Edina he m...

Much like Roy Nystrom does Lorne Grosso will field a competitive team no matter the year. I doubt Mayo will win the conference, they were 3rd last year with a bunch of talent, but I suspect they'll be in the 3 -6 range by the end of the year. Both Faribault and Century have some high end talent ret...

Any reasons for this: parents, kids...etc Had a good two year run. Kind of surprising.
