Re: Tourney tickets

I looked on Vivid Seats, cheapest tics for Thurs Day Session is a pair for $65 each (did not click to buy to see what the Vivid service chare is...$20?). Question, what is the face amount of a 200 level ticket...and who is making the markup? If it is not MHSL Season tickets, and not given to the Hig...

Re: State Tourney Tickets

The service fees--I get it, everybody gets their cut. A $93 ticket carries a $27 service charge on a $17.50 face value ticket. I want to know who made the money on the tickets sold through Vivid seats (there were no tickets on Ticketmaster or Stub hub...only Vivid). The Xcel center holds 17,000 peop...

State Tourney Tickets

Question for members more knowledgeable than I (which is everyone on this bored). Most years I attend the tourney by finding tickets out front or in bars along W7th. This year's AA tourney had a team I wanted to see so I went online to buy tickets ahead of time. I was eventually directed to Vividsea...

Nice job. Not bad for a Catholic boy. who is a catholic boy? I just tell it like it is like for example Holy Family's Will Garin is tied for first in Class 2A with 9 goals, Matt Anderson leads all defenseman in 2A with 10 points, Jared Moe leads all of Class 2A starting goalies with a 0.75 GAA. Man...

Because the Refs let North play like a Junior team this year--my observation from seeing a couple of regular season games. Also, in general we don't see double minors or majors in the state tourney--remeber the tourney the year Jablonski got hurt--they let a ton of contact go without penalties.

...but no Patrick Henry?

No love for the current Minneapolis Conference schools, Edison, Roosevelt, Washburn or previous, West, Central, Marshall University? Bloomington Lincoln a no-go? Edina West has decided to join Bauer-Emerson and go AAA.

While this is an enjoyable argument, the group of Minnesota kids that are selected at 15s, 16s and 17s do not play together as a team. They are split up at the camp in NY. The teams at the camp play with 10F, 6D and 2G. At 15s, there are 12 teams (x18 per team = 216 kids in camp). The numbers are ge...

NLHockey Xposure posted their stats on their website. Curious to know what's up with all the older goaltenders - Brian Anderson (Maple Grove MNJHL), Joey Bergquist (MNJHL Breezy Point), Paige Skoog (NAHL). Has this become more of a juniors level tournament? I don't see 2014 stats up yet unless they...

For those debating the origin of this game devolving into a joke, it lies squarely on LN. Coming into the third period, LN had 4+ minutes left on the 5 minute penalty Tyler Nanne took at the end of the second. LN did absolutely nothing on this power play and I saw a distinct change in attitude at t...

Sometimes, leaving for greener pastures isn't always the best idea. How many Stillwater kids on HM feel the same way (or worse)? Flipside is Jack Jenson at Eagan--leaves perennial A tourney champ STA for AA Eagan, and leads team in scoring and is the difference maker in a AA Section final...vs STA!
