Re: CoVid-19
I only hope and pray that you and yours don't become a statistic. And also that nobody pays attention to you and needlessly exposes themselves to the virus. You've made your point. It's in direct opposition to many doctors. Who I believe is simple--not you. You're the opposite of a fear mongerer--s...

Re: The Hermantown Thread
Kniven hit the nail on the head. "The AD" doesn't care about competing at the AA level, they are all about chasing trophies. Because out shooting your opponent 50-10 in the section final and winning your QF game at state by a touchdown certainly isn't about competing. The best though is w...

Re: AA Scoring Leaders thru Dec 14
Biondi having a bit of a slow start by his standards with only 12 points. But Warroad star Slukynsky is red hot with 23 points. 59, will we see you at Aldrich or Braemar this week? Metro and old 59 sitting in a tree in Edina, K, I, S, S, I, N, G , .... I truly do feel for you Kniven...that you arri...

http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/sports/hockey/4474509-prep-boys-hockey-smalley-steps-down-cec IMHO hiring a teacher is almost always the best option. Smalley underachieving then quitting just looks like a bad hire. It by no means indicates he was a bad hire but in hindsight it looks bad and is bad...

👏 👏👏👏👏 for putting each set of semis in one arena! It doesn't really matter for 2AA and 6AA if they are in the same arena or not. They empty the building after each game and there's a 90 minute break between them, having to pay to get back in for another game. It's not like 7AA where you get to wat...

I'm kind of an old turd myself but you will never see me say some high school kids are a dreadful bunch. No matter what color jersey they wear. You are free to call it what you want. An 11-0 loss and outshot 60-7 is an indicator of an extremely bad hockey product based on programs yearly hockey exp...

You are right. I'm just so sad from all the feedback I'm getting in regards to how this guy bullies. It's unfortunate. The kids will adapt N survive in their own way and doing what their parents tell them to do. And I am going to defend the good, because its right. The bad scream and yell and hate ...

Re: Hockey Day Minnesota 2018
Congratulations to St Cloud on receiving Hockey Day Minnesota 2018 Any suggestions on who plays in the High School games? Here is my pick! Class A St Cloud Cathederal vs Monticello Class AA St Michael Albertville vs Moorhead MAML is a AA team now A. Dropped Annandale. Not sure if this is real or no...

Based on getting their teeth kicked in for 14 years in AA, based on average youth numbers, based on how many kids they are actually pulling from A-ML and finally based on that I actually had to use a calculator to add their opponents scores from those years! :) But a lot of schools can say at least...

This may have been one of the strangest games I have witnessed in Memorial Arena. Buffalo had zero shots on goal in the first period, none and trailed 2-0. In the 2nd period they get 8 shots on goal and 4 go in. They were still out shot for the period. After a goalie change, Roseau tries to get the...

That was the class that won state in 2007. Huge senior class with 14 seniors. That was a special group. Many blowouts happened after that year in PeeWees and Bantams. It was the norm up until recent years. To base Hermantown on that class would be like saying EGF will be as good as they were 2 year...

My biggest takeaways from the seedings 1. STMA got rewarded rather than punished for playing everyone only once and some teams not at all. 2 Bemidji got totally hosed. IMO we're a 2 or 3 seed. But if they were gonna be a 4 or 5 they had to be behind Brainerd so I guess I see that. 3. Roseau got rew...

Not very worried at all. Roseau could be from 2nd to 5th, but just fun to speculate. Been having fun speculating on seedings for more than 20 years, probably before STMA had a hockey program. It is a fun time of the year. Instead of getting your undies bunched up, make your predictions and give you...

I don't see how this benefits East. The way Rapids is playing now, Cloquet is a much tougher draw. Add the rivalry factor and you have a much more difficult game for East. Also, if memory serves me right, Cloquet has taken East out of the Sectionals more than Rapids has. Apparently late season perf...

Oh my Lord! I have one account on here and one only. What we can agree on, ...

I know rankings should be based on section results, but find it interesting that St. Mike's beat PageStat #64 Farmington in OT last night. I don't find it interesting how much you whine and cry. Give it a rest, if you wanted to be ranked higher than stma you should have beat them when they made the...
