Number 1 is Wayzata. Experienced, depth and really good incoming group of Bantams. Goalie is highly regarded. Number 2 is Benilde. Couple higher end players and would expect them to have depth. Experience in every position but goalie. Number 3 is Eden Prairie. They could take over number two spot b...

How is Achiever in both the Eagan and Burnsville tournament? Achiever Academy didn't participate in Eagan's Summer Meltdown Tourney last weekend. I wouldn't get my hopes up for any given game to be fun/entertaining/predictive of the future. It's summer hockey, and there is a wide range of attitudes...

No team will ever be dominate in 6AA. Really disappointed they didn't spread around the talent during the realignments.
Any changes in 6AA for next year?

Wayzata! Tonka has been hot most of the season and if they can beat Tonka- they should be able to make it to state.

Eagles EP is really going to have to clean up their play if they will win it in 2014. They take themselves out of the play time and time again trying to go for the big hits. Benilde will be favorite again next year based on guys coming back plus the top end players coming in. The talent of EPs firs...

Really not what I expected out of this game. I would have guessed it was going to be a high scoring, gun it out game. Goalies proved me wrong, as both came up with some big saves. Was also surprised with the amount of penalties, thought the refs would let them play a little more. However, the major...

Great game at the Pagel Center tonite! Potential preview of a state tourney game? Skippers still with a shot at the #1 seed in 6AA... Tonka gets #1 seed if EP beats BSM and Tonka beats EP again. There's a chance that Hopkins earns the #5 seed now with Holy Family's loss to Mound tonight. what the h...

Okay - the picture does look bad, agree. The Mound player came down with the puck, HF player made contact and rode him out of the play. As they went in the boards the Mound player kind of fell awkward and fell facing towards the boards The momentum carried both of them - as the Mound player fell, H...

Re: Holy Family vs. Edina (11/23)

For me, this is the most interesting game of the week. Although I am pretty certain Edina will pull through with the win, I think we will see a strong Holy Family team that has the ability to move up the rankings, even into the top 10. They still need to get used to playing the top AA teams, though...

The process is not a good one...Where a player attends school should have nothing to do with it. Benilde had 9 players I believe. Eden Prairie had several including some that had scored like 10 points in the previous season. More similar stories at the expense of more deserving, and capable, player...
