Re: Public vs. Private

For those there--did Roseville play three lines or just two most of the game?--EP played three pretty even which could make a difference.

I really like their defense--Very strong and just do not seem to make mistakes, they move the puck now-did not give up many opportunities to Jones or others--

Re: Jones

Hockeyjock--What a sick post---That said, if you are a supporter of Christina Lee I could understand some of your frustration as she was the best I saw this season--Picking the Ms. Hockey is going to get more difficult all the time as the sport has progressed so much over the last five years and tha...

Re: Eden Prairie

Hub--Saw them play against both Edina and Wayazata--IMO two totally different teams--one physical, holding, when they could (Edina), the other more wide open--(Wayazata) Roseville winning it all? I would agree they could advance to final. Only win if EP gets knocked out, which I do not see happening...

Yesterday it appeared that Maria got the assist and not the goal but they reported that she got it--as it turns out it was her long time linemate Melissa Feste who got the goal and Maria who assisted--

Re: Recruits

OFP--If someone were to copy a program there is no question Edina's would be the one to copy--I think they have something like 10 or 11 girls teams not counting the JV and Varsity. I do not know the number of transfers out of Edina but they could probably field another (very good) team if they all s...

Re: Recruits

That's right I forgot about Jacka--And did not mean to label them them as "supporting" however given that group I believe all they would have needed was a "supporting" cast--anyway you are correct--things change, but this idea of coaches "recruiting" is a bunch of bunk ...

Recruits

It was not recruiting on EP's part that brought the two Kennedy girls to EP, it was a screw up on the part of Kennedy's Administration--Kennedy may have been going to the Tourney this year if the administration had not caused so much turmoil in the program--They would have had Stoa & Feste, (at ...

Looking at the brackets set up by GHS it certainly appears that EP, if they do win it all, will have earned it by playing all the best teams early on.
