Re: Raiders/Mustangs...Who will win?
I don't really care who wins as long as its fast and high scoring like last years playoff game. Last year I think MV out played RV, but meh RV won. Either way I'll be there to see this. I haven't payed much to either team this year so I have no idea.

Southern Teams
To be fair about your comment about southern teams. Some of the suggestions people made was to keep the ones that have fan support or have a lot of talent and then either just get rid of the others or move them to areas that will support the team.

I heard there are also some former H-M players on Wessys Boys, do you know what their names are or how many of them there are?

Re: Junior Gold to College
Yeah one of the st. marys ep jgs name is Tom Stewart and I've talked to him, because they have a hockey camp down at smu and Stewart has been my counceller (sp?) the past two years. He told me he hated his hs coach so he left to play JG.

How well will I do (HM football related)
I know this is a highschool hockey board, but there is really no where else to post this and I've seen some people hear talk a little about football here and there. Well I'm going to HM next year to play football and baseball then hopefully hockey if I can make it. I'm just asking about football rig...

Re: Why
Ya in WBL most of the kids who are gonna end up in JR. Gold aren't exactly the most drug free kids in the world though those kids usually end up on U16 their first year and maybe Junior B the next two years if they actually have some skill. Then I don't know any that have any type of chance at A. So...

Re: What is midgets
You guys have all been a lot of help. I was thinking that midgets can be a before and after thing, because I was reading in American Hockey magazine and it was talking about a midgets team from Maine and it said they played Midgets in the fall, High school in the winter, then Midgets again in the sp...

Re: cretin's new conference
I know that WBLs athletic director and varsity football coach Bob Jackson doesn't want Cretin in his conference. He was complaining about it a lot in WBLs local newspaper the WBL press. Isn't the WBL,Mounds view, Roseville,Stillwater confrence called North East Suburban Classic or something like tha...

Re: What is midgets
So pretty much MAHA runs its hockey programs different than the entire country so that a separate program (mshsl) is stronger.

Re: cretin's new conference
I hope to god Cretin doesn't end up in CSC that would ruin HMs football team which is just now starting to get good. I hope they end up in Missota. Which to me seems the most likely.

Re: What is midgets
Well ya I know how it is done with age level and not grade level, but many people that I know commonly refer to it like that even though there are a few people in an older grade, but in the same age level. Like this year on my Bantam team I had two sophmores and a seventh grader on it.

Re: What is midgets
So could a U16 team actually compete in a midget tournament? I also remember a bunch of kids from hockey camp who were out of state. Actually most of them were out of state. They all told me that they had just changed the dates for bantams, peewees, and squirts so instead of having it how it is now. ...

Re: What is midgets
Wow you were all just extremely helpful, more than I thought you would. Thank you very much for the info, I am now enlightened. So I'm wondering would there be no way for a junior gold team or U16 team to compete with midgets? I also kinda find it odd that Minnesota the state of hockey barely has an...

Re: Most Underated Goalies
Well Tartans goalie was a lil' underrated, but he does seem to be very inconsistent. I kinda liked Tri-Citys goalie though. I only saw him play in the Tri-City v.s. Centennial section 3AA quarterfinal game though. Even though Centennial kept running the score up on him he seemed to be doing a good j...

What is Shattuck St. Marys and what is Midget hockey
All I know about Shattuck St. Marys is that its some prep (boarding maybe?) school that is big on hockey and has teams on a lot of levels, but I have never heard of them playing highschool. Oh yeah and I heard they're located in fairibault(sp?). Then what is midget hockey? Is it some alternative to ...

Re: Centennial vs Hill updates
I kinda thought Centennials goalie (sorry don't know his name) did pretty well and made some nice saves. He did pretty well at not letting the puck through when everyone was crashing the net. Though Fangel did absolutely awesome and I probably wouldn't have thrown my stick if I were him, but he shou...

Re: Occasionally the sun will shine. . .
Yes Rudy the lil' midget that could. I'm just joking though. Rudys story is pretty inspirational though, I mean a guy who was small and kept trying and trying to make it. Then his senior year he gets to dress for a game and they let him do one play and he sacks the quarterback.

I'm just wondering if many Junior Gold A players ever play juniors (possibly DI later) or DIII?
