I take it CenRED is from Centennial and his/her daughter did not make the team. However it looks like 3 others players from D10 made it. Where does all the complaining end??? If your daughter did not make it, learn from it. Evaluate your own player and make the good decisions to improve your athlete...

[/quote] I've seen a lot of A teams (girls, boys, all ages) that play dump and chase hockey. I blame it on the coaches instead of the talent. Given a weak team coaches can decide to play defensive hockey, or to develop their players even if it means losing a few games. Coaches who chose wins over de...

MinnGirls-HockeyPAPA etc...  Hockey PAPA-maybe it is with that mentality you have been bit in the butt and you blame coaches for not picking your daughter. Be realistic, coaches in general are not out to make decisions based on parental likes and dislikes. If this occuring then you ne...

Great tournament so far!! The outcome of the games has been what the majority of the masses were thinking all year long. Congrats to EP and Edina for making it to the finals of this years U12A State Tournament! :) It was predictable as the sun rising from the east. Two large associations with deep t...

HMMMMM Chisago over Tartan in Semis 4-2 of the State Tournament. I guess that A team idea from the eager parent group of Tartan love was a little off base. Losing to Chisago in Semis now has you playing for 3rd and possibly ending up 4th. It was a nice run! Congrats Tartan for giving it your all, yo...

Financial?? Why would Minnesota Hockey not do its due diligence to determine which Districts can support the full experience. This seems like a matter of Minnesota Hockey not supporting the membership. Is there a checklist that helps make the decision to give a association ownership of a tournament ...

PANs - you make a clear observation and now Hockey121330 should be humbled by the words of many and just be happy that Tartan plays at the B level. They are a B team and this past weekend is obvious that the association made the right decision. Good luck to all the 12B state tournament teams, may yo...

There are no C teams because the same reason why the State Tournaments in all sports (specifically Hockey) have a championship opportunity for all school sizes. Thats why we have a 9 man football championship, so we dont leave anyone out. That is why we no longer have one high school hockey champion...

Tripped....did you fall into the metalic paint your were sniffing when you posted that jibberish??? He is a fine goalie, but come on. Elks are the 1 seed for a reason. Huskies have the #3 out of D10, just wanted to clarify. I do like your enthusiasm, but your statements lead me to believe you were h...

Hockey 12 - Did imply or state that any 10A or 10B could compete. I said 12A and 12B. I simply said top 12B teams cannot compete with the top 12A. I will give you case in point.. Edina. Edina 12A would beat their top 12B team which looks like 12B Black handly. Another point, Eden Prairie. The EP 12A...

Sounds like some envy and jealousy from some of you. There is a reason Blaine hosts the D10 10U tournament every year, because we have the venue and volunteer staff to support it. That being said, we can control a lot of things. We could have done even teams but why do that when our team at the next...

In D10 Elk River may get a shot in the arm with the few 10 move ups that may or may not make a difference but may not be enough to compete with the Blaines and Andovers of 10. Anoka has a stand out player that will make a difference against weaker teams but will not come out of the D10 pool. Blaine ...
