Unbiased opinion. Anyone who sees what I post knows I am not from the cities and knows I played the game. EP had the game. They smothered the puck on the sideboards with 3-5 seconds left. Anyone who has played the game knows it is impossible to score in this scenario. This is frustrating for BSM. T...

I love this thread... We all know the long and storied tradition of LN parents bitching and complaining about everything (e.g Schmitz, Eigner, Goalie Mom) and now that there just can't be anything they could possibly complain about (at least for now), everyone else is now piling on the bitch parade ...

Before the semi final match-up many were saying how Centennial was going to roll over the Eagles because the cougars were playing their best hockey, including their section wins over highly ranked Maple Grove and Blaine (agreed that those were impressive wins), but after the Cougars lost a hard fou...

I do not mean to pigeon hole all Lakeville North fans, but some of you are simply pieces of work. You finally have a good thing going and you still find something to go all negative on.

Evan Robert was the best goalie I saw all weekend. 16 or 17! He was square to every shot and made every save look very easy. I look to see big things from him as he moves forward. Very impressive to see a 'tendy from SSM with this kind of talent and tenacity. you can't play at SSM if you aren't tal...

Unbelievable! MN Hockey has F'd up youth hockey in this state so bad, and I am so glad I no longer have any kids playing! MN Hockey seems to feel that unless they are continually changing things, they are not doing their job. Sometimes just providing support to existing framework is the best approac...

Let me start by saying parents in this situation should be most accountable - and I am one of them. The only thing I'll add to previous opinions is I should be responsible 24 hours a day for the character my son displays (on and off the ice, in and out of school) until he is an adult. Administratio...

Re: AA BRACKET OUT

2A hockey: #2 Duluth East v Moorhead; #3 Edina v Lakeville North; #1 Hill-Murray v Eastview; #4 Wayzata v #5 Centennial” Looks like they don't really care about the two northern teams facing each other... Maybe it really is a blind draw? 8) pesky draw for Hill as #1 seed. I can think of 2-3 other t...

The one statement that just drives me nuts from the article is the below: [As the team continued playing hockey, the school district also took its own poll – asking the teams’ players for their views “on their confidence in the entire coaching team’s ability to continue leading the team for the rest...

I believe team play counts for something. Given that the core first and second years each play together year-around, that has to give Edina an advantage unmatched. (Blades and Machine, remember, are both based in Edina. No one can seriously suggest there is another AAA program in MN that can really...

Agreed, a very good game! EPs big boys came to play, however in spite of all the chances they had, they still are struggling to score. That being said, if they keep the work ethic (and team play) where it was last night, they can and will compete with anyone out there. I was very impressed with Prio...

First goal was a terrible turnover by EP that allowed a LN player to have a clear shot on goal from close in. Second I think was a PP goal and the shooter skated in from the point to have a clear shot. Don't remember third goal but last was off a 3 on 1. EP goalie made some big saves or the score c...

I think MSHL made a big mistake going with automatic 5 min for head contact. This put officials in a huge box given the frequency of hits to head. I think what they should have done instead is left it a 2 min, however, if hit is especially malicious, let the official increase to 5 min major.
