Re: Mahtomedi vs Hermantown
Way to go Mahtomedi...What a shame...no ring for the whiny coach from Hermantown. Maybe next year you can whine your way to a ring coach.

Re: HERMANTOWN VS ST CLOUD CATHEDRAL
The game was never in doubt. From even before the opening faceoff 👍. The Metro (Gopher) better get used to loosing to Hermantown (Bulldog). Hermantown isn’t going anywhere 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Well at least one northern town can win in the metro consistently...they certainly can’t at AA..one AA title in ...

Re: Seeding for State
There is no way in Class A that Warroad shouldn't have the #1 seed. They beat Cathedral and Rapids, whom Hermantown lost to and they never lost a game to a Class A opponent all year. They also man handled a top 5 team in EGF last night. I see no argument for anyone but them as the #1 seed. They do ...

Re: Single A top 20 2/2/2020
i’m relaxed...just think your logic is interesting. I mean teams losing at home by a combined score of 12-5...and both being out shot 2-1...with SCC missing a future NHL draft pick...makes it a toss up? Anything can happen for sure...but it would be a HUGE upset...

Stang will do a better Write-up Here is my thoughts: Section 1A Favorite: Dodge County Challengers: Mankato West, Mankato East & Fairbault Dodge County got Lamb's running mate back in Donovon from Injury should help. The team will have 20 wins by playoffs but haven't really played anyone great....

Re: Section 6A 2019-20
Is there any chance Smith makes it back for SCC this season? Is it a rotator cuff injury? Have heard from most that he is done for the year. Stinks Great player who I enjoyed watching. I have on VERY good authority that he will be back in about two weeks. So you will get to watch him for the stretc...

Wow Hermantown was up 5-1 on their home ice playing Cathedral team missing their one of their top players and they give up FOUR unanswered goals....YIKES!! Just for the record, it was 5-2 and three unanswered goals. Still a fabulous comeback, but not quite that large. it was 5-1...Hockey hub has it...

Re: Single A Top 20 12/29/2019
Hermantown’s tie with Cathedral must make the Very Normal. Apparently Cathedrals demise was greatly exaggerated. Those two teams are far and away the two best in Class A. Warroad might take exception; they're undefeated and did handle Cathedral 5-2 earlier in the season. Wow Hermantown was up 5-1 o...

i hear ya...and again Smith is a huge loss..but they still have 5 elite league kids on that team and three more that should have made elite league. and comparing the upset from two years ago is not the same. Re: Single A Top 20 12/29/2019
Per Hockey Hub Preview of Cathedral vs. Hermantown, Jack Smith’s injury is serious enough to potentially end his season. Hopefully that won’t be the case, but shoulders are apparently a recurring problem for SCC. Rugged senior forward Jack Smith, a state tournament standout last spring and top play...

Re: Games Tuesday 11/26/19
St. Cloud cathedral should be ashamed what they did tonight. Destroy a team by 15 goals in 2 periods and the. Basically toy with them and play cat and mouse in the 3rd and only take 3 shots on goal...have some integrity and move to AA Warroad is beating SCC 3-0 in the second period. If they had any...

Re: 2019 Elite League Rosters
Warner didn’t play last weekend No Warner No Troumbly No Gramer Still, no excuses...but 3 D1 commits would definitely make a difference had they played against Shattuck. Also...not that it matters, but it is funny where this "information" comes from....GP has not practiced together once a...

Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
if you go to the rules on eligibility on the MSHSL website, there are quite a few pages on eligibility. There are some absolute black and white rules...where if one is met, it's a no brainer. Then there are two pages on "transfer Eligibility" where there are multiple things considered, inc...

Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
I have no emotion about this whatsoever, my 2 sons completed their varsity eligibility several years ago. But Mack’s case is simply not a “hardship” case, anyone with common sense can see that.☝️And funny how there is absolutely no transperity associated how this was approved or reason given associ...

Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
In the end we all knew this would be the result. But if proper protocol wasn’t followed (a family move out of Tonka SD) it’s a black eye on the hypocrisy associated with MSHSL rules & decisions ☝️ Have you read the COMPLETE rules surrounding transfer eligibility and the reviews and circumstance...

Re: Moving to Minnesota for HS Hockey
Some recent comments have me thinking. Is it GOOD or BAD that kids move in to play Minnesota HS hockey? Some examples: Rob Granato from one of the most prominent families in American hockey to play on a state championship team at Burnsville. TJ Oshie migrating from Seattle to Warroad to play where ...

Re: YHH Summer HS Hockey Podcast 2019
There's a few bitter whiners on here that are a bit tweaked because their kids or associations haven't had enough success in HS hockey. Free market is great isn't it? If there's a market and people support it...great. YHH does what they do and they do it well. More people get pissy and have issues i...

Re: YHH Summer HS Hockey Podcast 2019
Believe it or not a lot of high school hockey fans do not give a rip about the high school elite league. Sad when most hockey associations are now feeder systems to the private schools and that people will move so little Johnny can play in Eden Prairie. Sad that Youth Hockey Hub seems to celebrate ...

Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
I agree with you ClassA guy...he's not moving from AA to A to dominate anything. There are 3 D1 commits on SCC already with two more in the wings...Mack is a very good player, but he's not even attempting to move to dominate his own A team. He will be "one of the guys". The rules are rule...

They would not ...

Re: Pre Pre-season (summer) 2019-2020 Single A rankings
I believe SCC, could challenge for the AA title much like Hermantown a few years back They are loaded with talent and speed up front. There really is little difference other than depth from top A hockey and AA hockey. UMD has figured this out, there lineup is loaded with A players I disagree with th...

Re: Pre Pre-season (summer) 2019-2020 Single A rankings
Good Catch. So they are tied with EGF I would still give EGF the nod with Goaltending counting very large of the top end Class A teams them and TRF have a great advantage there. I had heard a few of the Cathedral boy's were doing Before and After so I didn't realize all 5 would be in Elite League. ...
