He obviously doesn't know the landscape......list is way off. Lol yeah these guys don't like talking about HF at all, I didn't even care to mention that HF's Brady Ziemer committed to SCSU and HF alum Jaxson Stauber committed to Mankato State these past few weeks. Only other commit recently is Brad...

By current body of work do you mean last season or the historical accomplishments for each school?

If the latter, how on earth can you have Holy Family first?

It was really cool to see Cullen win his third cup alongside Guentzel (formerly of Hill-Murray and son of Gopher coach Mike Guentzel), winning his first after an outstanding rookie campaign. In addition to those two, Phil Kessel (Minnesota) and Josh Archibald (Brainerd) also lifted the cup on Sunday...

Re: Nate Knoepke commits to Gophers

Hearing rumors that Nate Knoepke has committed to the U of M. Congrats to him. "Rumors" like... He announced it himself all over social media? Why not say that instead? Congrats to this outstanding young man. There are still a few of us who don't spend our days stalking minors on the internet...

Why are you decrying it for being nothing but a money maker? What a silly argument. In case you're not aware, we live in a hybridized capitalist economic marketplace where we sell our labor for monetary compensation. Judge not by the profit motive but by the quality of the service provided. A short ...

Hockey fan 893. Would you object if Lou Nanne helped fill a Minneapolis bank executive vacancy with an individual from Toronto who has hockey playing kids? Would you object if a Hockey dad physician assisted mayo clinic in filling a RoChester Doctor Vacancy with individual from Finland who has hock...

What follows will of course be a rather unpopular sentiment, but I hope what I have to say might prove cogent to the few rational thinkers that populate this forum. This revelation should mean absolutely nothing for Minnesota Youth Hockey, whatever that generic term encompasses. The goal of 'Minneso...

I can't help but think that, for kids as naturally talented as these that don't require 3-4 months of additional camps and ice time to transcend their competition, it would be more advantageous to quite literally hang up the skates for 2-4 months and condition their bodies in other ways. There is a ...

Re: The Tourney has reached its peak

It's all down hill from here. It was a good run. The game has just overrun what it was meant to be. Too expensive. Lack of community identity. Not enough interest from casual sports fans. No more coliseum. I hope the mercantilists and progressives are happy. I hope you enjoy your lakeville north, E...

What I think is funny is that Jake Wahlin says his team comes before him, yet he's not sticking around for his senior season - he's just thinking about himself. Personally, I hope he's a major flop at the higher level - much like Jake Hansen turned out to be at the University of Minnesota. You can ...

Congratulations to Mr. Boeser. Certainly a deserving candidate.

If I were in charge of making the decision, I would have selected Jake Wahlin. But at this level of player, the lines in making such a selection become very grey.

I was happy to see Anderson included on the list over his linemate at Hill-Murray. Politics and biases aside, Anderson is a special player. A very special player.
