A list of Top 5 MSHSL players in state for 20/21 season, regardless of class, has to include Joe Miller/Blake. Committed to Minnesota.
He's an 02, this is a list of 03's regardless of class. Some 03s are seniors this coming year, some are juniors.

Early information that a top 10 team in search of goalie talent may possibly find one from a very uncommon non traditional source . Stay tuned . Ben Norris is going to BSM, coming from Orono. He'll be a D1 player eventually Well, with him, the two Lakeville kids and eventually Podein that 9th grade...

Several of you are saying the flu killed 60,000 people in 2018. That is with a vaccine available that a lot of people took. Think about it. I’m not exactly sure what your point is, but 98% of those people that died did not take the flu shot. I think what he’s trying to point out is that 60,000 numb...

Re: The Hermantown Thread

Exactly! Which brings me back to the simple question that you refuse to answer. Why would those teams travel to Brainerd, Moorhead, Duluth, Cloquet and Grand Rapids, instead of playing the Perennial Top Class A team in the Metro which is a measly 30 miles away? You're the one who brought up earlier...

Re: The Hermantown Thread

4. You COMPLETELY choose to bring up several nonsensical smokescreens while ignoring the obvious point: H’town & D East are close to each other. If I drive the whatever ten miles how many schools with decent hockey programs will I pass? Eden Prairie can more easily play Minnetonka, Chaska, Edina, B...

Re: Class A Tourney w/o top 3 teams

Beat Minnetonka, Hill Murray and Grabd Rapids when they were class AA champions. Yes quite a curse. They could have won AA tourney, I don't believe they could have won the AA tourney this year. It's a lot tougher (A LOT) to win 3 games in 3 days playing against highly skilled teams. Even some of th...

Steve Magnuson of Anoka played his senior of 1991 at Anoka. He did not leave for juniors. He played his freshmen year for the Gophers in 1991-92. Just an FYI
I'm guessing he meant he left the Gophers after his junior year

I am not a believer that you have to move to Hermantown to be noticed. Sorry Stay in school. Stay in your school! So Hermantown builds a D1 feeder like they have and continue to play at the lowest level possible for high school playoffs? Sounds like a free ride to the x to me. Maybe University of M...

I was on the South bandwagon all year......until I saw them in the playoffs. They made the goldy313 list of top 5 worst teams to make the state tournament out of 1AA since the two class split. They can’t score, they struggled in 1AA after the 1 vs 8 game and needed outside help at that to score. Ha...

There are a bunch of “reds” who gain nothing by staying. A couple of reds are 90‘% gone. At least one one was terrible at sections and state.......no way he stays.
He also was playing with a broken wrist.

Well, When you have the ability to re-tool every year by offering a grand church experience and also a hockey team it certainly helps. Public schools will have good teams from time to time and certainly goes in cycles. WBL seems to have good teams a little more often but are always a couple players...

Question on Championship Day Saturday: Do you need separate tickets if you want to attend both the Class A and Class AA title games? That appears to be the case, as both the Hub and my DVR guide show the A game starting at noon and the AA game at 7:00pm. My AA tickets, however, show the AA game(s) ...
