Did some digging on http://myhockeyrankings.com/index.php and based on the 2011-12 season as well as the 2012-13 season (which I believe is a majority of the same kids minus a few that either went private or left) they did remarkably well at the Bantam level. Combined those two seasons and they were...

They play eachother in a best of 3 series to see who gets the 1 seed. Games will matter since regions is based of rankings this year.

They both opted to go to District 6 this year but were turned down as District 6 preferred to have Owatonna.

Ultimately, isn't it the kids choice and then the parents job to support their son's decision? Obviously they can voice their concerns but if a kid truely wants to do that why not?

I do like how you want to stir the pot since he is part of the MSHSL.

What's your problem Pinky? I wish all the scores were posted here. Easy to find and review. I guess i really don't have a problem, all i'm stating is that they are the only ones that really post so if i'm looking for scores across the state for A/AA bantams and click this link all i'm getting farmi...

That's fair, but then why does this thread exist?? It's not our fault that other teams don't post here anymore?? What years of youth, or HS, did Jaime McBain play for Edina?
Never said he did...just stating the "active" NHL players with a birthplace of Edina.

why didn't Edina Peewee AA play Shattuck before they took off to MI? Just for the record according to LetsPlayHockey there are 36 Minnesotans in the NHL. 1 - Edina, 2 - EP, 1 - Minnetonka, 2 - Plymouth(Wayzata). So if anybody thinks all the Edina Peewee AA's are headed to the NHL the stats are stac...

Here is another thing pretty similiar to this if we are talking about sandbaggin.... Take D8 and D6 for exampl.e Usually if you end up being the worst seed it makes it difficult to advance....yet in this case being the 4th seed out of these two districts ends up actually being beneficial, because no...

If your a B1 bantam you will have little chance of ever playing varsity.
That's a stupid comment. There are likely hundreds of varsity players that played Bantam B1.
I can name two on Wayzata Varsity that played B1 and B2 Bantams and i believe there might be a couple more

Another one of those....should have thought about that before they went that direction. Same with Minnesota Hockey and the suspension issues with the checking from behind /boarding/head contact thing they just through out a month after tryouts. District Directors ONLY discussed this policy. It is n...

This is off subject, but what does Edina do if he leaves? Do they move a kid up from the A team? Then one from B1 a kid from B2 team? So on...so on...... Yes they would then in turn move a kid up from the A team. Some associates don't allow this but typically this is the case there. Take last year ...

Wayzata will be fielding a AA and A team for bantam's and they will "not" be balanced.

First 17 kids for AA and next for A which will essentially be like the top tier B1 team.
