If you look at the players tendered vs the players roster in either the NA or USHL, it is about a 50/50 chance of sticking from a tendered spot

I caught the Sunday afternoon game between the Magicians and the Coulee Region Chill - it was all magicians. I was expecting more out of Coulee and was a little surprised. Most of Coulee's shots were from the outside - not many good scoring chances for them. It will be interesting to see if Coulee w...

Went to the Saturday night game against the Wilderness - Magicians score 2 goals in the final minute to tie the game and win it in the shootout - with each team going 12 players deep into the shootout.

I saw both games over the weekend as well - Saturday was a great game, very entertaining. Sundays games didn't have much flow with all the penalties - on both teams. Look forward to catching the game this Saturday as it is the first game they get to serve beer...

I saw the game Sunday morning - it was very good - once the list gets reduced to 25 - 30 I suspect it will look even better, as there were a couple kids that didn't seem to want to move the puck, which usually doesn't work at the Jr level.

Not sure why you write it off before it gets going - except you and a few others must be jealous because someone got off their butt and actually did something other than sit on the couch and make useless comments - your life must be miserable.... Most forums are negative which is why most people don...

....USHL is Tier I and NAHL is Tier II - those are the only 2 leagues in the US that are not tuition based. Both providing players very good opportunities.

...Folks should really do their homework - look at the NAHL rosters and see how many 15/16 year olds are on the rosters. Out of the hundred's of players in the NAHL - there are 8 or 9 total that fit this category ('96 birth year - no '97 birth year)- and they are all out of state kids. The NAHL is m...

I am planning on buying season tickets and have talked to way more people that have indicated they are planning to attend (and excited about it) than have said they won't.

I am just curious how many NAHL games and D3 games S & D has seen - to try to understand his knowledge of both. The games I have seen in both the NAHL and D3 (and it has been numerous games in both this year) reflects the comment made about a wide range of talent in both - both have good players and...

Is the only reason for someone to play junior hockey to land on a college roster someday? What if someone knows they don't have a future (career vise) but simply wants to continue to play a sport they love at the highest possible level they can for the longest time? If they, or they and their parent...

It will be interesting to see how this develops. I suspect the team will be better than the bottom of the division based on the talent pool, but you never know. I will certainly go to the games - beats driving to Austin, Coulee, or the Blizzard and I have been to all 3 this year.

The Z is holding out hope that AHA will be there, and the reason you play the games is anything can happen. Seems like a long shot his team will get out of the 1st round but they could if their stronger players have a great game

I have seen close to 100 games already this year - Jr's, HS and Bantamm AA - and it seems when you are not pulling for a specific team, the ref's tend to get it right more times than not. In those games did the ref's make some questionable calls - sure they did. That said, they got it right most of ...
