Thanks for clearing up a couple of the interpretations I heard via the broadcast. I am fair, impartial, neutral and and fairly objective to look at BOTH sides. Stillwater may have been "cheap", but let's not overlook the documented plays of retaliation, and non-call of a "kick" ...

This was one of the most poorly games, I have witnessed by both teams this season. Start with Stillwater. Negatives - I am sorry but Coach Hously is a whiner, WB player gets hurt with a check from behind and Stillwater gets a gift with a 2 and ten. The next minute Hously is screaming at the ref. fo...

It must have been the Ponies depth that pulled out that big 1-0 win over East Ridge late in the season. Since depth generally refers to overall quality, let’s not fool ourselves into thinking one game amounts to diddly-squat. Over the length of the season, SW & WBL have played 20 games a...

Thanks for providing the whole picture for us. Based on the whole picture, one would think that Stillwater would have finished higher in the conference standings and should have been seeded higher than #3...perhaps even #1. They have finished strong down the stretch (let's all forget the ER game......

Stilly in a tight one, 4-3, stillwater is too deep imo for the bears to match up with this late in the season. Bears tender will have to play great for them to have a chance. It must have been the Ponies depth that pulled out that big 1-0 win over East Ridge late in the season. Since depth g...

Re: Hill-Murray

A couple of questions: Did you all sit around and whine this much about Ryan Wolter going from Mounds View to White Bear Lake? Or the Alexandria goalie at Moorhead? Or the Baudette kids at Roseau? Or the entire Hopkins basketball team? What about all those families in White Bear Lake that apply for...

W.B.L. 5 Ponies 2 [ watched both teams play F.L. not impressed with Stillwater ] Judging from your name, I would think you'd be more in tune with the late season goalie situation for the Ponies. They had their sophomore goalie in the net vs FL, as they were trying to find their sections goalie. Whi...

Agree. I hope Rubbelke, McCarver & Hinz are getting their rest. Diebel will have them each out there 2/3 of the game tomorrow. I think the Polars will win this game. :? I'm confused... First you say you agree with salmonwheels, but then you say you hope their top players are resting up because ...

Re: NSP - Stillwater

I think this will come down to Coaching. Polars could win if Diebel lets everyone play and doesn't get his top players tired by the middle of the game. 5-2 Polars[/b] Agree. I hope Rubbelke, McCarver & Hinz are getting their rest. Diebel will have them each out there 2/3 of the game tomorrow. I...

DE outshot the Huskies 48-18 in the Jan 29th game. Barring a sieve performance by the DE goalie, this should be no-contest... 4-1 DE.

I like the Red & White in this game. They struggled early in the year but seemed to have re-grouped and have proved they can play with the best teams in their conference. I look for Big Red to advance & take on the Bears in the semis. Big Red??? I thought that's what the Stillwater f...

Clearly, you have not seen FL play this season. Great goaltending and inspired play from a team that appears to want it more than anyone else right now. 5-3 FL

While anything is possible, I'm not sure how you vote against SW on this one. They've beat Mounds View twice since Jan 9th, and NSP just dropped one to MV three days ago. It may have only been a 1 goal loss, but SW won both games vs MV by 2 goals, and Defiel was in the net for the last. If the Ponie...

Congrats to the Breck coach and I agree this was a class act for Senior Nite. The coach honored the seniors - t...

Re: Class Act!

Do you want to hear something impressive. Last night was Breck's senoir night. Coach Les Larson recognized the senior class at tonight’s Breck-Saints game by taking an intentional “too many players” penalty at the start of the game. It seems the Mustangs had 16 seniors on the ice for the opening fa...
