Maybe it's because the game is played on a wednesday and the outstate fan's couldn't take off half a week of work. Add to that an off day on thursday and a lot of fan's choose to take in the first one on tv and head for the x on friday... big $ difference in skipping one day of work and paying for o...

i suppose it would be against site rules to discuss specifics on why or why not a player has left a team.

Terrible idea to end a game early, it it was up to me i'd get rid of the running time as well. What is the biggest perceived problem with MN HS Hockey? Kids leaving early to play juniors or NTDP. Why do they do it? To get more games is a big reason. Now we don't even want to let the kids finish the ...

Plus up here we don't much care if we have to drive an hour or three to play or watch a game. In the cities the furthest away game is about a half hour, up here thats as close as an away game gets...we're used to it, it's a non issue.

My prediction still stands, put your money on it

So i got this pm that told me that warroad beat egf 12-4 in their last meeting. So does that game get thrown out in your argument then since the game back in the beginning of the season means warroad will get knocked off in sections?

Seems like you're reaching a bit...

Section 8A does sections the right way. Right now it is on a three team rotation, EGF, TRF, then Warroad get a turn to host the tournament. There is no arguing or lobbying to play the game here or there everyone knows where it will be played and you can look 5 years down the road and know where it w...

Re: you are looped!!

TheDon, You are right; they also lost to EGF . Which is why I have them at #5. I wouldn't be surprised to see them get knocked out. Did they play twice this year? I don't have either teams schedule in front of me, but usually those two teams play each other twice during the regular season. They did...

1 Breck still the best fastest team in class a 1 loss on the year shattuck doesn't count they will whip any high school team. I love how it is ignored that Breck lost a game head to head with another top team; in that game spectators said they were lucky for it to be as class as it was. If you igno...

Have them play in AA instead of collecting meaningless trophies... (see St. Thomas boys program as well) This isn't a knock on class A, it's a knock on teams that have talent playing in a lower division so they can rack up an insane record and stats. Warroad is a joke until they play with the big s...

I have to lean towards Nelson. Everyone agree's that he's in amongst the top three (well almost everybody). If you look at Bjugstad, Nelson, and Holl's seasons Nelson's has been the most impressive. Plus scouts have a lot of input in this award and they are very high on Nelson right now, even higher...
