HSHockeyFan - That is wishful thing! If were going to bring last year into the equation I distinctly remember a 9-1 drubbing that the Cougars put on the Crimson squad in the most important game last year. Stick with this year and stop living in the past. I just do not see the Centennial team losing...

Try the US womens team. I believe they are practicing at the Super rink over that time, and are usually looking for any scrimmages.

The Trojans aren't even going to make it past those mighty Tech Tigers. If they give Tech 40 points. I don't know anything about Tech, but I've seen Wayzata a few and I'm not sure giving Tech those points would make this a bad bet (but I won't take it, so don't ask!). People that know more a...

The Trojans' next victim will either be St. Cloud Tech or something called Buffalo.
Very Impressive! Looks like the University of EP has found their opponent.

First Playoff Games for most teams in the state tonight. Due to the "everyone has a shot" philosophy of the MSHSL there are usually some pretty big numbers tonight. Anyone got any? 70? 80? 90?

Does anyone know about Minnetonka? I can't remember if the coach last year was "interim" after the mess they had with hiring.

As long as there's beer there it's worth the trip Govs, that's a no-brainer. I generally stick to the local brews, Summit, Schell's, et al. During the tourney I almost exclusively stick to Finnegan's Irish Amber at the Liffey. Finnegan's is a local beer and 100% of the profits are donated to charit...

Congrats to BC, a good program led by a great coach. He still lets the kids play. Not much trap, 1 man forecheck there, and oh yeah, if your only 5' something but can play he'll have you! Love to watch them fly around the rink and be creative.

How about the Pizza Places that are now adding a "delivery charge." Does anyone know how much, if any, the driver gets off this?

Could easily be one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen. That being said, WOW is it fun to watch. I agree who would've ever thought we'd want NHL calls in a WCHA game. Coach must've really been in the linesmans ear to earn the too many men at the end of the game, but WOW was that fun. Hats...

I don't see any upsets in the first round, with the possible exception of Osseo v Maple Grove (if that would be an upset? 4v 5)
I do think the second round could get very interesting. Especially Blaine verse Champlin!

Thank you I honestly don't think they will lose all 3, but have a hard time justifying any wins against these three. The emotion of a final home game might give them enough to pull off a tie with Blaine, or revenge against an Osseo team, the Anoka game might not matter seeding wise for either team. ...
